“There aren't a lot of places to eat along the Delaware River outside of super expensive places in New Hope. Lumberville General Store is one of my favorites. Generous portions, very good food, and the staff is willing to be flexible for those with dietary concerns. The building is historic and you can eat inside or outside. Love taking a walk across the Lumberville (walking) Bridge to New Jersey.“

“First of all, without even mentioning the delicious baked goods, Justin & his wife Aastha are so sweet & amazing. Every conversation I’ve had with them could go on forever. Aastha is always so willing to chat & Justin is always down to discuss my current home baking projects.

I’ve been going once every week or every other week for over a year now & felt the need to finally write a review (I don’t review much on here!). Today, I walked into the shop looking for my coveted Almond Croissant (amazing) and there were none to be had—Justin hadn’t made them today because the plain & chocolate were selling well enough to not make any. This man, so wonderful, offered to make me an Almond Croissant. I felt bad, but he insisted & I came back in an hour & an half and he had it waiting for me. Now, THAT is truly caring about your customers. It was just what I needed after a rough week.

Some of my favorite baked goods from the Bakeshop are (obviously) the Almond Croissant, the Country Loaf & Personal Loaf (same dough, different sizes), the Chocolate Chip Cookie (my boyfriend’s favorite) & the Cheddar & Chive Danish.
Notable mention: I tried the Pesto (homemade with walnuts) & Parmesan Babka today for the first time & oh my gosh, so good. Savory with a subtle hint of sweet. I’ve never had a savory babka & I’d been eyeing it up the past few weeks and boy am I glad I made the purchase.

The vibe inside is cozy & rustic. Warmth radiates from the oven(s) & also the decor. Books for children, window seats to people watch, and a big booth to house a small group of people.

All in all, come for the pastries & keep coming back for the customer service.“

“Really, these doughnuts are no joke! I’m not a sweets-for-breakfast person but Curiosity Doughnuts are exceptional. I could even see these doughnuts being served as dessert after dinner. If you haven’t gone before, the time is now. You will not regret it.“

“I've gone here a few times not just because their items are DELICIOUS... but because of their mission. They recently added a whole GLUTEN FREE kitchen so I ran over when it opened one day last week to grab GF Valentine's Day cupcakes for my daughter who has celiac. THEY WERE AMAZING. If you haven't checked them out...or have and don't know their story... take a moment to be invested in something local and well worth your attention. THEY EVEN DO CUSTOM ORDERS...cookie platters for a work event etc. ( am I kind of glad they aren't located closer to my home in Warrington... why yes yes I am... because I have no self control and would be there for snacks... daily... don't judge me 🤪)“

This time they did a custom cake for our Twin baby shower we were hosting, The design was exactly what we hoped they could recreate and it was incredibly delicious too! The guests were raving about the taste. We will definitely be using them in the future.“

“I offhand went to this bakery today and it was quaint and cute I decided to get a sugar cookie, a snicker doodle, and a carrot cake cupcake. The sugar cookie was decent but the snicker doodle was REALLY good. I actually wished I had gotten more. Later in the day I ate the carrot cake cupcake and my goodness this was a 10/10. The cake was delightful and the icing texture, amount, and sweetness was perfect. I would highly recommend.“

“It was suggested by our friends that we stop by on our way home from their farm on Saturday. We had a little truck lunch including a slice of sausage pizza and slice of tomato pie, 2 pepperoni rolls and a piece of tiramisu. All delicious enough for us to go back inside a couple times leaving with: some dry pasta, marinara, and a cheese and parsley sausage wheel that we made for dinner that night. Do delicious. And bruschetta that came with some breads that, in hindsight , we should have got the bigger container of bruschetta that was the absolute best. We didn’t even try any of the pastries that were recommended by our friends. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I stumbled upon this store online since I go to McCaffrey's in Doylestown from time to time. I didn't know what to expect but I will say that the vegan cupcakes and chocolate bundt cake I got were excellent and the staff are very friendly. I am happy places like this exist that see the value in conscious eating for individuals or those who want a nice indulgence here or there for a special occasion or celebration. I will be back and all the deserts are definitely crack worthy 👌.“

“These are seriously the best cupcakes in Bucks County. I’d even argue that they’re the best cupcakes in both Bucks & Montgomery counties. The cake is fluffy and flavorful and the icing is the perfect level of sweetness. They’re a hit in the whole household. Even my picky eater loves the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. I recommend the salted caramel and anything that has raspberry filling.“

“Annie B’s is my dad’s favorite source for sweets, particularly the apple crumb pie. For his birthday on Saturday, we got 95 mini pie’s and they were the hit of the party! Not one left over! “Today I had one of Alicia 's chocolate chip/espresso cookies .What can I say about it, that will convince you, that it was one of the best, if not "The Best" cookies, I have ever eaten. I am not good at using big words to describe how it tasted ( like a proper food critic would) ,but what I can tell you is that it has made me a regular customer for sure!!
