“It was our first time dining at Valley House. I was in the mood for something different and the lamb gyro did not disappoint! The lamb was perfectly seasoned, sliced thin, and piled generously on a warm, grilled pita. It was topped with creamy tzatziki, marinated red onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, which all blended together for a great taste! Having a gyro as a menu option was a nice change of pace from the usual pub food.“

“We stopped by on Saturday Night. First, Lorin was fantastic. She was friendly, and very involved. We sampled their whiskeys which are all made from local supplies. The flight consisted of a single malt, bourbon, and rye. They were great, the rye was especially nice. What really checked all the boxes was the fact they have local beers and wine available as well. Very different from most places, which have either, wine, beer or spirits. Great find and looking forward to our next visit.“

“The wedge salad, sliders - bith kjnds, & soups were good. The bedt salad was huge with greens- almost too much. The mushroom soup was ok, not the best, a bit too thickened with cornstarch or flour and not served hot enough. Our group of 5 on our way to Wharton-Esherick house all enjoyed our lunch“

“We attended a rehearsal dinner last week at the Fox Barn and had an amazing time. The private room was beautiful, great ambience and lovely atmosphere. The food was good but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. Our bartender Shannon, couldn’t have been more accommodating! She was super friendly, charismatic and her attentiveness was remarkable! From remembering what we had to drink, to bringing us refills without us having to ask, to going above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and content. Numerous guests acknowledged how great Shannon's service was. Great venue! Great food! Outstanding service! We definitely recommend The Fox Barn, especially if you're looking for a venue or to host a party!“

“I vist this establishment on occasion. It is always a pleasure. I usually order their burger with the BBQ sauce. The service is very good. The atmosphere is open and airy. You can have a group or choose a cozy nook. Indoor and outdoor seating. It is so worth traveling the extra miles to order!“

“I just held a 40th birthday party at Lock 29. Everything was great. The space was perfect, everyone raved about the food and cake (some people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!), The servers were awesome, they made sure everyone had what they needed and did a great job keeping things organized and clean throughout! I would recommend parties here to any of my friends and family! Everything was exactly what I wanted!!“

“Had a great time. We went to see Magical Mystery Doors. Food was excellent and top k notch burgers. Our waitress went above and beyond ( sorry forgot name but petite woman curly hair). Our only complaint was they should set boundaries when there is live music. We had a table almost next to the stage but there was so many people that we had to stand ( not that that’s a problem) but there was ways they could’ve avoided this. All in all a solid place“

“My boyfriend and I drove from MA to PA in April and we stopped at Ron’s on the first night before continuing our drive to our place to stay in Akron. We walked in and it was busy (Friday night at dinner time to be expected). We waited not long and grabbed two seats at the bar. The bartenders were all attentive, friendly and gave great recommendation. We shared Supersticks and Chicken Parm and a dessert to go. The food was incredible and great size portions. We loved it so much we ended up going back into town Sunday night instead of trying somewhere new because we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to try something else. The second night we shared the Nachos, a Buffalo Chicken Stromboli and French Onion Soup. It was equally as good and enjoyable as the first night and we sat in the dining room this time and the waitress was just as great as the bartenders! Now we say every weekend that we are going to drive to PA and stay the night just so we can go eat at Ron’s(one day we won’t be joking). Thank you for the amazing food, service and memories! We hope to be back soon!“

Cold macro beer is on tap along with a decent variety of cans and bottles. Wild Turkey 101 and Tanqueray are cheap. Superb cheese steaks. Say hello to Steve for me. If you ask him nicely, he'll mix up a fine Manhattan or Gibson.“

“$1 beers, what more could you want? I’m from London UK and first visited Jake’s bar in 2016. Upon returning I was shocked to find out beers are still only $1! It’s a dive bar that is full of character and friendly people. I’ll be sure to return when I’m next in West Chester.“

That food was so good I had to rhyme on that one!We have come here at least five times already and each time we've come the food has been awesome sauce!I always get the braised short ribs, boneless... No fat lingering... All melt in your mouth, then combined with the mash potatoes and gravy! Chile cheese!I know I sound like a fat girl, but lawd have mercy!Today I had the green bean with my meal... Let me speak on that as well! I had to pace myself because I didn't want to leave them delicious green beans on that plate!My partner always gets the lemon thyme roasted chicken breast with rice pilaf and broccoli... She cleared her plate as well! I'm talking consistently, each time, flavors never wavering, ALWAYS on point!Then you have the bartender Miss Brenda, (who by the way had a birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS BRENDA!!! ?) and let me tell you, when you go ask for the Miss Brenda specialty sweet drink!I'm excited because we are always disappointed when we go spend our money at some of these other places and they f@*# your food up, smdh.You should never have an issue here at the White Horse Tavern & Wine bar!After you eat you gonna wanna waddle on over and get you a room! Comfortable beds and most of the staff is awesome!! “Great experience last night. Tried going to iron hill for a burger. Sat down and waited 20 minutes but no one came over to us. Seemed like the kitchen was backed up but the front kept seating people. So we left and went to 320, where I normally just grab and go. My husband and I sat at the bar, got burgers, fries, mad elf, and a mad elf cru to take home. Great spot for a low key night out.“

“This used to be my favorite spot. They've gone downhill the past few years. They used to have a variety of good, unique dishes. Now it's like going to taco bell where everything on the menu uses the same 5 ingredients. Now has the feel of a once good restaurant that got mixed up with an equity partner that tossed identity and quality to the side to maximize profits until bankrupting the place.

Original: This is one of my top 3 restaurants. This is one of those restaurants where you can pretty much order anything on the menu and it will be amazing. It's been a little while since I've been there but I often dream of the cocoa rubbed pork chops I've had there a few times. It was mind-blowing amazing. And, this is the kind of place where the sides that come your entree, are just as amazing. I can't wait to go back.“
