“We were a party of four. It was our first time dining there and we all loved our food - everything was delicious! Service was absolutely top notch! Our reservations were at 6:15 on a Saturday night and it was packed upon entry. The only downside was the noise level caused conversation to sometimes be problematic.“
“Silence at the table? That's a good sign at Teresa's Cafe! My party of three enjoyed a relaxed and delicious meal. My burger had chewing in silence, while the steak and salad reports were equally rave. This cafe knows comfort food - fresh, flavorful, and silencing conversation in the best way possible. Definitely recommend!“
“Although long, not wide, great place to see a band. Soundboard guy does a GREAT job. Tix cheaper at door than online. Mixed-age crowd usually. Food good, but poboy is really just a fish sandwich. Gouda fries- awesome. Convenient to train station.Parking: Take the train! Wayne Station.“
“4 stars for great food, but... I don't think it is worth the prices. I had wings, salad, and a cocktail and the price was $50. I'd expect this level of food prep to be more about $30-$35. It is a hotel restaurant, and the service level from staff was a bit slow. There were a lot of hotel guests crowding the hostess area so much that I couldn't find it, so it took extra long to find someone that could seat me at a table.“
“I ate here on a Sunday evening in a group of 5 women. Our waiter was Jason. When we sat down he asked if we were celebrating anything and we told him that my daughter had just said yes to her wedding dress. He went above and beyond to make our meal special. Not only did he give my daughter a free oyster as a treat, but they also gave us all champagne so we could do a toast. Jason was an attentive server and made sure my daughter who has a gluten allergy had a meal that was safe for her. We all got salads with added protein and they were fantastic! Very unique and delicious. We had a great meal and superb service! I highly recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: One guest in our group had a gluten allergy and they were attentive to her needs.“
“We were there for lunch, loved the food, especially the short rib pizza, and I usually don't eat pizza. My friend thought there was a little too much cheese. Never. I had some sort of crab pasta. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.“
“we had the best time celebrating my mother in laws birthday here. she asked me to write this review specifically to say how wonderful the service and food was! they provided us champagne and a cookie sundae with a a candle to help is celebrate. it was an amazing place to have a birthday party and we 10/10 would recommend for any occasion! food and drinks were phenomenal. Angelina was our server, we couldn’t say better things about her.“
“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“
“Jimmy is excellent. He takes great care of us. We have been here numerous times. He is an excellent source of information and provides outstanding service. The food is always great. Portions are generous. We love the homemade chips and anything with carnitas.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for folks with a gluten sensitivity.Parking: Plenty of parking for everyone.“
“Like the pocha theme, Korean street vendor. You can experience authentic popular dishes plus trending alcohol.Meaning no BYOB.They also offer bbq, which I tried pork belly, it has gotten nice thickness and fresh. You grill at the table. I've requested green lettuce and extra garlic and pepper, decent amount to enjoy the meat together.I chose their pork neck bone soup which was spicy enough to kick my taste bud, perfect paring with Soju. They bring out a portable warmer, so it keeps warm and hot.Their pork katsu is typical Korean style, the sauce is brown yet has enough seasoning, I tasted a bit of ketchup too!Sweet and sour pork was an appetizer for me, sauce poured out, moist and crispy still.Parking: The restaurant's 4 sides are their parking lot. Back side is residential.“
“The food was fantastic! I recommend the calamari for an appetizer. Prime rib special was out of this world. It paired well with their signature old fashioned. To finish things off, I enjoyed the apple strudel dessert. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly prepared and executed. Same goes for the drinks. I really enjoyed date night dining with my wife here.“
“Looking for a place to grab a cold beer, burger, and/or sushi? We'll look no further the food and service at Guppy's are top notch w/ very reasonable prices. They even have their own sushi chef and specials weekly. Lori and get squad are the best!“
“We love Spring House. The food, drinks and service are consistently top notch. Last night was a step backwards. We were greeted at the table by our server with bread and butter and asking if we wanted more than water to drink. In general the drinks took a while and so did the soup. We waited quite a while for someone to take the empty soup bowls and ask if we wanted a water refill or another drink. The soup bowls were taken when the entrees were served. There was someone nearby who was setting the table next to us but she was only interested a table that was still empty when we left. We remain fans of the restaurant and will be back but clearly not a good moment.“
“Overall, my experience was amazing. I went to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. Folks at the table didn't enjoy their food. Though, I really enjoyed mine. I had the chicken francese meal. It was amazing. I wish I could recall our server's name. She was amazing. We were there on 4/13 and seated upstairs. Even the other tables of guests were great. Just an all around great experience.“
“We enjoyed a wonderful experience for a 40-person Retirement Celebration that was over the top! I want to thank the entire team at Peppers for taking care of the Bancorp Bank Team! Everything went smoothly from the time we made the reservation till the dessert was served. The food and service are always amazing when I go for dinner, and the banquet food was also delicious! Thank you again for the great service and for providing us with a wonderful experience for our boss's retirement party! If you are looking to have a party, please give Peppers a try, you won't be disappointed! Sincerely, P.J. McMahon“
“I love this place bec they promote people to dance, even if a person has 3 left feet & they offer lessons! I sometimes feel intimidated bec everyone is so good on their feet! The professional couples that dance make it look awesome! They make you want to learn & they look so romantic! The food is what it is! They don't do fine dining & that's OK! The food is secondary for The Crab Tavern as it should be! This venue knows what works for them! My hats are off to them! The part to them focusing on the dancing, most songs they play are geared to folks wanting to dance & most of the time the floor always has people dancing! It's not like a regular club where the dance floor stays empty! Or worse yet, there are only females dancing by themselves! I'm not saying I don't understand why they do that! At a regular club, the females dance with each other bec the men are intimidated or don't know how to dance!Or they need a couple of drinks to loosen them up!“
“Stopped here for dinner tonight and enjoyed it! The hot roast beef was very tasty, and so was the rice pudding! My husband and I split an order of chili cheese fries, which were okay. The atmosphere was a little lacking- the place felt old and a little run-down, and everything was served on small plastic plates, which was a little cheesy. That being said, id still go back if I was really craving a roast beef sandwich!“
“This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:Awesome cheesy garlic flatbread; very good half bbq chicken; best French dip ever; awesome fries; very good burgers; excellent sweet potato tots with marshmallow sauce; very good pizza; very good Caesar (get extra dressing); awesome Cherry Coke ribs; excellent pulled pork; great chips (get side of bbq); amazing toffee dessert. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and attentive. It has a good loyalty program. We’ve already received some rewards. Beware though. It has a sports bar vibe and can get pretty noisy. The food is outstanding. I’d be surprised if they made anything that we didn’t like. Check it out.“
“There's always a different bartender and it seems the more makeup they are wearing the more likely they are to get your order wrong. I ordered a double shot of Jack and a pint of coke and I got a double shot glass with ice and not even filled to the top and my soda had NO ice and it was half the size of a pint. That was a week ago. Two days ago, our food order got stupid screwed up! ...but as long as the bartenders look good, right? Shut up!“
“I really enjoyed my dinner. The food is delicious and unique. Everything was well prepared and presented. The Chilean Sea Bass is the best I've ever had. The Oreo Peanut Butter Pie is really amazing. The staff is very informed in guiding you through all the menu choices. I love it ❤️“
“I really enjoyed my visit here! I went on a date with a guy and we both really enjoyed our food, service and the atmosphere of this little bar. I got a vodka soda and a hot honey chicken sandwich and it was to die for. Topped with pickled onions, I was in heaven!!? I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Manoa Tavern! “
“My Mom and I came here for the first time last night. Well lived in Ardmore all our life and never been to this restaurant. We will definitely be back. We ordered the special which was Gnochi with sausage and meatballs. It was delicious. The server was really nice and the atmosphere was nice as well. We will definitely be back to try something else.“
“This is a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Fantastic food, even better drinks, and they are all so friendly and supportive of the community! I love to get the Green Goddess Bowl (with the perfectly cooked salmon), then splurge of either a sweet martini or a homemade dessert. In good weather, Ill bring my dog to eat on the patio and watch kayakers pass. 10/10..did I mention they have parking?!?“
“We came here for dinner on a somewhat quiet Saturday evening. Luck was on our side as they had no problem getting us a table for four and we were sat quickly. Service was friendly and the menu was surprisingly deep. Overall, the food did not disappoint. We started with the French Onion soup - it is on point and if you like French Onion, I recommend it. I went with the meatloaf sandwich. It was good, but the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Still a creative and enjoyable sandwich. We also got a poke bowl, which was very fresh. I'd recommend getting the dressing on the side as that could overpower some of the aspects of the bowl, but no other modifications needed.I've heard this place can get busy and is a bit of a dive bar. Given its location, I am sure it can get busy so I would plan ahead if you want to eat. As for dive bar, not sure I'd call it that but if I did it would more bit a complement. I say give Berwyn Tavern a go if you are in the area.“
“We had a great dinner at Streetlight. We had a large group so we ordered a lot of appetizers and a few pizzas and it was all delicious. I had the burger as my entree and it was delicious but I could only eat a little because i was stuffed from everything else.“
“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here a couple years back, and recently returned for an anniversary dinner. Everything was as great as our first time, if not even better. The food is delicious, specifically the filet, asiago chicken, and meatloaf, I'm drooling just thinking about them! All 20+ people we initially brought raved about it and the service was tremendous. Not going to get a better meal for your money in the area. Can't wait to go back!“
“Went on a Friday night for live music. Was a little confused about the set up at first if we wait for a server, order every thing at the bar, or get one can or bottle at a time and then pay for it at the bar. 3rd party BBQ kitchen was good for BBQ sandwiches. You can try a beer and if you don't like it, try another.“
“It's nice to see how the new owner has cleaned up the place. The atmosphere is inviting. There are plenty of TVs with a variety of sports to choose to from. The bartender, Charlie, was personable which added to a pleasant experience. The kitchen has added some interesting items to the menu. My friend and I got there after the kitchen had closed so we didn't get to order anything. Next time I go I'll get there earlier in the day. I recommend checking out the new Delco Kup if you like a down-to-earth, neighborhood, sports bar.“
“Literally we were driving by and took a chance! It was exactly as it should be, a nice neighborhood tavern that was welcoming to a couple of strangers that stopped in for a pint or two. Yes, they serve GUINNESS! Food was comfortable, and tasty! The tavern has plenty of LARGE screen tvs for watching the Phillies from any point of view! We sat near the bar at a pub table, but they have a separate dining area where you could sit at a table away from the bar.“
“I live down the street from this place and I really enjoy coming here. It doesn't get too crowded and the drinks are really cheap. It is a smoking bar, so be prepared. They make great sandwiches, but the kitchen closes pretty early. The bartenders are always on point and nice, and the other patrons are friendly. They have shuffle bowling, pool, and darts, too. Check it out if you're in the area and feel like hanging out at a gem if a dive bar.“
“I came in on Saint Patrick’s day with my family. We had an extraordinary time there. The portions were very large which is great for hefty eaters or people who simply want to save their food. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the kids Mac and cheese with applesauce (don’t judge) and it was delightful. The applesauce was slightly crunchy, and had cinnamon sprinkled overtop. The Mac and cheese was delicious and cheesy, I could hardly finish it all. I also had a Shirley temple with it, which tasted amazing. It tasted a bit like strawberry syrup mixed with lemonade and sprite. The service was excellent. The waiters and waitresses were so polite, and since I went there on Saint Patrick’s day, the entire staff was dressed in leprechaun outfits. They were very friendly. The atmosphere was very light and positive, with an older style feel. I 100% recommend going here.Vegetarian options: I personally don’t recommend for vegetarians to go here, as most of Phil’s is centered off of meat, but they do have plenty of other options that don’t involve meat.Dietary restrictions: The staff was very accommodating and would definitely be willing to accommodate to dietary restrictions.Parking: The amount of parking space was surprising, since we went in on a crowded day. Yet we were able to park our car comfortably outside with not too much of a walking distance.Kid-friendliness: They were so polite to us kids, we got crayons and they did not judge the awful drawings we made.Wheelchair accessibility: They had no steps there, and the distance between the parking and the building is a very small and flat area of land.“
“It is always a delightful experience to visit this establishment, as they offer an impressive selection of delectable food and beverages. Although there was a slight error in the preparation of my drink during my last visit, I do not hold this against them. My fondness for this establishment remains unwavering, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit. Furthermore, they consistently stock my preferred beer, Innis & Gunn, which adds to the overall enjoyment of my visits.“
“Great place with really good food and drinks. The staff provides great service and the owner, Frank, is a very nice guy. The holiday dinners to go are so freaking good too.Vegetarian options: I had a grilled veggie sandwich with was very good.“
“I've been there twice so far. Each of those times, the food was excellent and well prepared. The staff were all friendly and courteous. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the entire restaurant. It's a shame I don't really drink. Otherwise, I was going to have a drink at their bar. If you go, have a drink for me.“
“What a fantastic spot to watch the Eagles game. Food that we had (cheesesteak eggrolls, wings and tacos) were all fantastic. Probably the best service I've ever had in a bar. Every time one of our group of six drink was even close to empty, they were right on it. Can't wait to go back again for another game!“
“We had a bunch appetizers (potato skins, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, cheesesteak egg rolls) and they were all very good. The server was very polite and let us have a big table for our big group split up between the table and bar. We asked them to let us know if they needed to break up our big table and take any of the tables away, and they did, very politely, when it got more crowded. It was a very good experience. I will definitely go there again.“
“Had the best service from Diane and Julie. I mentioned i loved sweet drinks, Diane sent Julie to speak directly to me . She took the time to ask me what flavors I loved. The level of personalized customer service is great. My drink was amazing. Thanks Julie and Diane.“
“That night didn't want to go out. However, my wife wanted to go and I could not let her go by herself. So I went.and to my surprise I had an awesome time. Great atmosphere, and excellent music. .Good to know there are places like that. I felt safe and it 's close to my neighborhood. I recommend to anyone who loves jazz.“
“First real dive bar I've found on the Main Line. Unapologetic grungy aesthetic. Good, non-fancy food. Cheapish drinks. A (defunct) phone booth. A (I believe defunct) cigarette machine. Dart board. Not-so-fancy TVs for Philly sports. Friendly and chatty staff. Diverse and mostly friendly crowd. Jukebox. Open early, closes late. I could go on, but you should simply go to see for yourself!“
“The bartenders are on point, as is the pricing for anything outside of a private club. It's legit one of the last bastions of what a "corner bar" quintessentially is - afforable drinks, great service and interesting people. If the smoke isn't a deal breaker for you, stop in.“
“Forever changing neighborhood this is a fairly decent dive bar. Shout out to Starmaid Shantay (sp)(Monday and Wednesday). The place is clean and people play great music from the 'jukebox'. This is an old school pace with two pool tables and a short food menu. I believe the same people own Rose Bar off of Island Ave. They have the standard Asian version of soul food, basically good fried wings with various fried rice on rotation. The Singapore Soup was just okay no tofu or chicken Would I go back? Yep during Happy Hour 5-7 Monday-Friday.“
“This is by far the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Came here with my wife and father-in-law. Amazing service and crazy good food. Parking is a little tough to get to and the drink menu could use a few sours but overall it’s a 10/10 would visit again place. The owner and the waitress made us feel super welcome and were open to suggestions which is always nice.“
“A real "Gem in the Hood".. from the outside you would never know how nice it is inside...It is very clean, nice seating- at the bar & individual booths..Great music from TouchTunes.. They have Happy Hours & Specials on Various Days & Times. The bartenders are very nice & make great drinks. A nice crowd that is mixed ages & just there to have a drink, some food & a great time...Check out the menu.... Visit the Pony Trail...have a drink and a great time ???“
“This place was my favorite in the area when I lived in Westbrook Park. Unfortunately it's so beholden to Clam Tavern (Same owner, nextdoor). I'm allergic to seafood. Clam Tavern cannibalizes this place so bad. From staff to patrons to the menu. The ambience is sports pub but has a half assed fine dining area. It can't fully commit and I suspect that is for Clam Tavern overflow. The last time I went here it was an late afternoon. We ordered beers, finished them...and after twenty plus minutes of no one even coming on the floor I put a ten on the table and we left. The food is very good but it's being half-assed kept open by the location nextdoor. It could be so much better.“
“Nice neighborhood place staff is friendly beer is good food is awesome...2 complaints 1 it's so loud in there they should have insulated the ceiling because everything Echoes and people are yelling over top of each other to have a conversation second the kitchen shuts down early every night 8:45 on Saturday the kitchen's closed they should at least have a late night menu.“
“No food is served because you'll go to BURKE'S for a warm friendly hello ice cold beer and great conversation with 5 TV's to watch all the local sports games and the pool table is great or the shuffle board table will always have stiff competition going on. Stop in for great conversation and cold beer.“
“The food was very good and the restaurant was very lively. It's much more of a family oriented restaurant than I realized. I would go back with kids but probably not just with adults. It was very loud so not ideal for quiet conversation. But if you're looking for a lively family friendly restaurant, this would be a great option!“
