“It was our first time dining at Valley House. I was in the mood for something different and the lamb gyro did not disappoint! The lamb was perfectly seasoned, sliced thin, and piled generously on a warm, grilled pita. It was topped with creamy tzatziki, marinated red onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, which all blended together for a great taste! Having a gyro as a menu option was a nice change of pace from the usual pub food.“

“Bourbon, small batch is fantastic. Bought my brother-in-law from NY a few bottles, it was like I was Santa Claus. While visiting we served him a couple glasses, he was sold. Sent the bottle home with him, left him wanting more. So, more to come. Looking forward to holiday season when kids come home, we will make a stop and have a flight. See you soon.“

“Dine here a few times a year and plan to return in December. Nice menu for lunch, lots of variety. My salad did not seem as fresh as in the past. I'm not sure I would get that again. Service is always great. My friends enjoyed their meals.“

“We attended a rehearsal dinner last week at the Fox Barn and had an amazing time. The private room was beautiful, great ambience and lovely atmosphere. The food was good but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. Our bartender Shannon, couldn’t have been more accommodating! She was super friendly, charismatic and her attentiveness was remarkable! From remembering what we had to drink, to bringing us refills without us having to ask, to going above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and content. Numerous guests acknowledged how great Shannon's service was. Great venue! Great food! Outstanding service! We definitely recommend The Fox Barn, especially if you're looking for a venue or to host a party!“

We had a table almost next to the stage but there was so many people that we had to stand ( not that that’s a problem) but there was ways they could’ve avoided this. All in all a solid place“

“I just held a 40th birthday party at Lock 29. Everything was great. The space was perfect, everyone raved about the food and cake (some people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!), The servers were awesome, they made sure everyone had what they needed and did a great job keeping things organized and clean throughout! “Casey's Pour House is a good place for comfort food. My husband enjoyed a Cajun Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and I had a delicious chicken pot pie. The portion of chicken pot pie was just right for me. It had a flaky crust, enough chicken and just the right variety of vegetables. It wasn't too soupy and I was able to eat the entire dish with a fork. We had a booth right by the bar and it was a little loud there on a Thursday evening but that didn't stop me from enjoying my meal.

Parking: Parking is a little tight.“

If you ask him nicely, he'll mix up a fine Manhattan or Gibson.“

I had to pace myself because I didn't want to leave them delicious green beans on that plate!My partner always gets the lemon thyme roasted chicken breast with rice pilaf and broccoli... She cleared her plate as well! I'm talking consistently, each time, flavors never wavering, ALWAYS on point!Then you have the bartender Miss Brenda, (who by the way had a birthday today! “$1 beers, what more could you want? I’m from London UK and first visited Jake’s bar in 2016. Upon returning I was shocked to find out beers are still only $1! It’s a dive bar that is full of character and friendly people. I’ll be sure to return when I’m next in West Chester.“

It is a very casual sports bar, that serves good drinks, good food by friendly servers.There are multiple large screen tv's placed around the bar and seating area.Decent menu with normal bar food, plus weekly specials. First impression when you walk is "wow, this isn't a burger joint" The decorators did a wonderful job. After a little wait to get seated (they were packed and the wait was faster than told it would be) our server Brianna (I hope I got her name right) greeted us and got our drink order. We checked out the menu and there are lots of mentions of fresh this and fresh that...I walked in wanting a burger but took a chance on the cheese ravioli and meatballs and she ordered the grilled rueben. Food came out and it looked amazing, but I am a picky Italian and wasn't sure what the taste would be. Amazing, absolutely amazing. I left nothing on plate and she devoured her sandwich. Meanwhile, when ever we finished a drink a new one appeared like a ninja!!! The server was amazing, the food was amazing and the place itself is amazing. Fast forward to Friday (tonight) we decided to go for a mother's day treat from our son. The whole family got together (4 of us) for dinner. Everyone ordered an Italian dish. I ordered the chicken parm. This was the best chicken parm I have ever had. Better than mom, grandma and even my own. I have eaten a ton of chicken parm in my 50 years on this planet. This is best. The chicken was perfect the pasta was perfect. Nothing was left on the plate. Needless to say this is my new go to Italian spot!!! I didn't get pics of the food but the pics of the clean plate says it all. Oh, we had the same server as the first time. Again. Flawless service! We will be back again and again“

“Great experience last night. Tried going to iron hill for a burger. Sat down and waited 20 minutes but no one came over to us. Seemed like the kitchen was backed up but the front kept seating people. So we left and went to 320, where I normally just grab and go. My husband and I sat at the bar, got burgers, fries, mad elf, and a mad elf cru to take home. Great spot for a low key night out.“

Vegetarian options: Veggie burger was good. Not much more vegetarian except chili. Wish you could add tofu to a salad.“

I’m not quite sure what people are expecting from the downstairs bar given it’s known for being a college scene. Upstairs is good.“

“I didn't want to whip out my camera and snap photos of food because I was at a business dinner. Everything was outstanding. The oysters were fresh and chilled, the lamb chop appetizer was outstanding, the crab cake appetizer was also outstanding. My entrée was the halibut and it was the best halibut I have ever had. So tender and the beurre blanc was so yummy. Everyone else's food looked so delicious. What a gem of a restaurant in a town full of chains! Go here first you won't regret it.“

“Duffers has always been a nice place to stop, they have good food, good drinks, the difference here is, all the staff is kind, that give you the feeling they actually enjoy what they are doing. Live music is a real plus and something for everyone. Bar area, dining area, downstairs game room with music..check for schedule. I did see an outdoor addition but have never used it, so can’t help with that.( it ask, did I dine in or take out?) I have done both.“

“First time going to this place and here's my honest review.
Food: Tasty, but too well done for me and the according to my friend, the burgers have shrunk and was a bit disappointed in the size for the price they charge. Fries were good.
Drinks: Beer selections were good aside from a few of them not available anymore and server should of mentioned this at tge beginning. A little pricey for the small glasses and maybe offering a flight would be a nice addition to the drink menu.
Cocktails were made well.
Atmosphere: Beautiful building and outdoor is nice BUT the poop smell outdoors was off putting so we sat indoors.
Server: Mike was always coming back and asking us if we needed anything. He's a keeper.

All and all. I would give it 8/10.“
