“I just held a 40th birthday party at Lock 29. Everything was great. The space was perfect, everyone raved about the food and cake (some people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!), The servers were awesome, they made sure everyone had what they needed and did a great job keeping things organized and clean throughout! “Sorry I didn't have any food. But a great little corner bar. Old time stuff. Just a place to go in and have a couple drinks. And pick up on the occasional conversation, which can get very interesting. Great bartender will make what you ask him to.
Please do not pass on good information about this place. I don't want anybody else finding out about it.
If you're lucky you can run into the psychologist that I ran into, and get a session for the price of a couple drinks.

Parking: The later in the evening the better. Meters on both sides of the street. Went at 10:00 p.m. had the whole street to myself.“

“We are some Indian students stayed in that area from 2015 to 2017. We used to come after work and chill in this bar. There was an old man (hope he is doing good ) working all the time by him self. He used to watch TV and smoke cigarettes all day . His expressions while watching TV was so funny. We used to order pizza from next door taste so good I cant forget those days if I get chance to visit Philly area I will definitely checkout this store“

Was right after the eagles won the Superbowl and nobody gave me a hard time when I wore my cowboys gear in! Good friendly people. Reminded me of my little hometown bar back in Dallas. “Had a great time. We went to see Magical Mystery Doors. Food was excellent and top k notch burgers. Our waitress went above and beyond ( sorry forgot name but petite woman curly hair). Our only complaint was they should set boundaries when there is live music. We had a table almost next to the stage but there was so many people that we had to stand ( not that that’s a problem) but there was ways they could’ve avoided this. All in all a solid place“

Cold macro beer is on tap along with a decent variety of cans and bottles. Wild Turkey 101 and Tanqueray are cheap. Superb cheese steaks. Say hello to Steve for me. If you ask him nicely, he'll mix up a fine Manhattan or Gibson.“

“This is such a cute space. Its seat yourself and first come first serve. The service can be iffy depending on how crowded it is. And the menu is smaller in the beer garden. Limted to certain pizzas, some pasta, salad, appetizers. But the food is good and the drinks are good. Not great for large parties of people. Id say best for up to 4 people.“

“Great experience last night. Tried going to iron hill for a burger. Sat down and waited 20 minutes but no one came over to us. Seemed like the kitchen was backed up but the front kept seating people. So we left and went to 320, where I normally just grab and go. My husband and I sat at the bar, got burgers, fries, mad elf, and a mad elf cru to take home. Great spot for a low key night out.“
