“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. You truly helped make their day — and ours — even brighter. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!”

“I was here a few times for lunch this month. The food was delicious and served very quickly. There is not a ton of seating as most people get their food to go.”

“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.”

“I don’t know how I missed out on this place up until recently. Absolutely delicious crust on the pizzas and strombolis. Garlic knots are great. Broccoli bites are nice and crispy. We are big fans!!”

“A bit disappointed. Love the space but my meal was nothing special. Mixed vegetables were good but only warm. Baked potato was warmer, but not hot. The star of the show would have been the crab cake but there was nothing special there. The menu says jumbo lump crab. If there was lump crab meat, then they shredded it up to make the cake. I could get a crab cake that good or better almost anywhere. We've had good food here in the past, but unfortunately this meal was nothing special.”

“I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“We went to PA for a family vacation. We wanted to try the pizza in the area because it had to be better than what we get in NC. We felt bad going in 20 min before they closed. But, I called and asked if they would serve us. They said yes come on. We ordered 2 pies that came out fresh and absolutely amazing. I would totally recommend this pizza place. Also, plan to come back when we return to town one day in the future. Amazing, service!!!! Amazing Pizza!!! Family oriented!!!! “As always, fantastic ribs and sides at Rocky’s! Got the original sweet barbecue sauce that was outstanding! The dry rub on the ribs is delicious and they are so tender. Got one of my favorite corn cakes with the jalapeño jam and a side of mac & cheese. Brought home some bread pudding to try with dinner tonight. We love stopping at Rocky’s and highly recommend you check them out!”

“First time visit for lunch today. This place is OUTSTANDING in every category! I got the turkey club and my wife got the grilled chicken salad. Both were delicious! “When friends come to town we go to Bully’s. It is the place to go for casual upscale dining in Columbia. I have been taking guests there since Dave and Sherry opened 25 years ago and have always had a great experience. There are always great choices on the menu and the atmosphere is fun and historic. The unique wedge shaped site at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Union Street features plenty of parking and an onsite bakery. The owners are great supporters of the community and have been hands-on in all aspects of the operation. Well appointed guest rooms are available above the restaurant. If you want a great meal, a wide selection of beverages and an enjoyable experience visit Bully’s soon.”

“The staff and the owners are extremely kind and open and genuine. Currently enjoying an amazing coffee cake muffin and a cup of coffee while enjoying the outdoor seating.

The ONLY negative is that, while they have plenty of seating for a coffee shop, they’re seem to be popular enough to keep most all tables full, so seating MIGHT be tough depending on when you show up.
