“we eat here often. Never had a problem with service untill tonight. We wanted a table right inside door due to my husband not walking well. She was going to deny us that table till we walked to it and sat down. The reason was that that server was leaving.....so???? put someone else on that table. It certainly wasn't crowded. Took us awhile to get drinks and order, but as always the food was good. They may need to teach the so called hostess a few manners of understanding,“

“We went the other night and were not disappointed at the food or service. However the price was high and this is not critical but the ambiance was not there. The tables were so close that we could hear everyone's conversation. Also it was very hard to hear what the owner was saying when he was telling us the specials. There is no liquor available and you must bring your own BOB and for the price of the entrees, it would have been nice to be able to do this. Again I will say the food was exceptional but suggestions would be to leave more space between diners, lower the lightening, possibly use tablecloths rather than place mats. All in all, it was a nice one time restaurant but probably would not go again.“

“We came here for dinner after a tournament my daughter had today. Food was so so good . We had a brisket wood fire pizza , salad and my daughter had a chicken sandwich. We were waited on by Betsy . So nice and super helpful when it came to helping us pick from their menu / beer selection since it was our first time here . Would definitely recommend!“

“We had dinner this evening at the Water Shed Pub. What an enjoyable evening!!!! The appetizer we started with was the karaage chicken. I can’t explain how the flavors come together for this dynamic appetizer but, Wow! It was fantastic!!! Our entrees of the scallop po boy…..( yum!!! )…… and the seafood enchiladas……. ( oh my goodness!!! ). …were delightful!! So, so delicious!!!! Sweet potato pie and pumpkin cheesecake ice cream were an amazing ending to a superb meal!!! We’ll definitely be back soon! “Planning to meet you from New York I’m always looking for a good burger place. I’m so glad we decided to try here tonight. The staff was amazing friendly and accommodating lady so I didn’t know her name was so happy to be where she was working. She was pleasant and just happy something nice to see the food was amazing on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 15. I have the Hawaiian burger, everything’s prepared the way I requested the fresh cut fries salted perfectly. I will definitely return here whether I move to this area or another. “We have been big fans of Carpe Diem and Nino for years but in the beginning of October he catered our wedding and the results were even better than we hoped for. The food was wonderful (Chicken Parmesan and Meatballs). It was very tasty and fresh, not at all dry or overcooked as often happens when food is put out for a buffet. His house dressing is amazing, and I normally do not eat any dressing on my salads.“

“i was going to pick up for 3 plus me. They wouldn't let me order a 4th sandwich. So I asked the 2-person group behind me if they would order me a burger since they were only getting 2 sandwiches. The grill guy looked at me and said "are you trying to get a 4th sandwich?" Then the person who was ordering for me started getting mouthy with him and the cold cut guy started screaming and waving a knife around. The people who were trying to order my extra burger (for a total of 3 of their 6 sandwich allotment) said "f this, we're outta here" and gave me back my money. I'm pretty sure even if i had gotten back in the twenty minute line they wouldn't have let me order another burger. To be fair, they had a hand written sign detailing the policy. Had i known about that policy, I would have brought another person or called the order in 2 hours before opening at 8 am (as their hand written policy suggested). I won't be back due to the way they handled my in-policy work around (the knife waving was a real turnoff).“

“We visited this restaurant on our last night in Harrisburg. I deeply appreciated their plant-based and gluten-free menus as a vegan (available if you scan the QR code on the regular menu). I got the plant-based eggplant parmesan sandwich with french fries. My partner got a tofu salad with french fries and the chai latte mocktail. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was a bit pricey but worth it for a farm-to-table, ethical dining experience. Service was amazing, as well!“

“Ate dinner there about a week ago. Food was good but their telephone rang at top volume the entire time we were there making it difficult to talk or enjoy our meal. Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. The restaurant was far from busy for in house dining so I guess the owner doesn't care about us; only the take out customers! I have eaten here for years and tried to support them during covid but never again.“

Justin made suggestions based on his likes on the menu. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the filet and lobster. We were both very pleased with the meals delivered. “I wish that I had the time or energy to write out a full review. It's a 2 hour drive from my home to the restaurant so I'm a little beat at the moment.

But I wanted to make sure I give a shout out to our server, Jennie. It is Saturday, November 8th, 2025, and she was our server and she was amazing. She made sure we had everything we need and even anticipated things before we even asked. She was personable and friendly and cheerful, even in the midst of a busy Saturday night dinner rush.

There used to be some OK places in greater Harrisburg that were passable, then practically all went to pot -- or else my standards increased. I tried a new place in Camp Hill tonight that looked great, with great reviews. Uggh--I will never go back. Sushi Express, on the other hand, NEVER disappoints. Don't be fooled by the generic name, or because this is a kiosk-type restaurant that is an island in a mall, or because it's in the food court. I have eaten here 100+ times. This is, hands-down, the place I look most forward to to get sushi. Fancy? No. Elegant? No. Crazy wild rolls that dress like peacocks, but are all sauce and circumstance, no substance? No. This is for serious sushi eaters who want fish that is the freshest every time, is always great tasting, and with an experienced, personable owner who is funny and you like to see. We ordered a few entree(chicken bowl, 6 Oz sirloin steak, liver and onion) , the portion is big and the food is freshly made. The vegetable of the day is sautéed tomatoes and the sauce is superb!“
