I have been a customer for a few years now and knew that hiring Casey for our wedding cake was the easiest decision in planning our wedding! We chose to do a small ceremony cake and ordered sheet cakes for our guests. Before finalizing our cake order we picked up one of the cake testing boxes, which was so helpful in narrowing down flavors. We ultimately went with vanilla cake and buttercream because a classic is a classic for a reason! The cake so delicious, beautiful, and fresh on the wedding day. We couldn't have ask for a better treat to end the perfect night!“

Kyle himself delivered the cheesecake. So the 2nd cheesecake was for my Godmother's Birthday. She said her and her friends really enjoyed. I just ordered another 1 that's 3 in less than 5 days. Got a dozen chocolate chip and just a variety of some of the other cookies and donuts they had available and man, I wish I would have gotten more. The staff was incredible, even gave us stickers when they heard how far we drove just for the cookies! If you’re in the area or down for an adventure, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in! 🍪🤤“

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

“Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“I bought the iced caramel macchiato, chocolate croissant, and milk sticky buns. The staff was so kind and friendly, and I could really tell they enjoy working at this bakery. The food was great! The croissant was flaky and buttery, though, there was only a sliver of chocolate inside. It was mostly plain croissant, but honestly, I didn’t mind! The sticky buns were delicious, it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, so I genuinely enjoyed this treat. The latte was great for the price; it was $5 for the small, but the small size is plenty. At Starbucks it is usually 4-5 dollars for the tall caramel macchiato, but the size is significantly smaller. I would say even though it’s not too expensive, it’s also probably not the best coffee in the city. The taste was pretty average. Additionally, the coffee is not very strong in this macchiato. If you have tried the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso from Starbucks, the strength of coffee on both of these is very similar (though I would say the shaken espresso is a little stronger). Overall this spot was a great visit and I look forward to coming here again!“

At the start of the semester, RMU sent an email about signing up for their birthday club to possibly win a cake! I feel so lucky, and the owners were such amazing, lovely people. We brought this cake to a friends house for soup cook-off. Although we were voting for our favorite soup, everyone agreed the lemon cake was the true winner - there were no leftovers! “Hmm... breakfast sandwiches for brunch!? Well, that's what my daughter suggested and that was my first stop after landing at Pittsburgh International Airport. It was a deceivingly warm Saturday afternoon (mind you, it's February 28th). As we drove up, down and around the streets we reached our destination; a little store that can easily be missed with parking for approximately 5-6 vehicles. We walked into the store and the counter is in your face. Oddly shaped with plenty of baked goodies on display.
We ordered an egg, cheese, and hot honey ham on an everything biscuit and an egg, cheese, and bacon/onion jam on a biscuit. As I browsed through the menu... a chicken pot hand pie peaked my interest, so that was added on to my order.
Let's just say that the food was delicious and finger licking is a display of satisfaction. The first bite of the sandwiches was packed with savory goodness... from the buttery and flaky biscuits, to the thick cut bacon/onion jam and hot honey ham; as the egg yolk hangs around for you to take another bite before it runs all over your fingers. The sandwiches did not disappoint. Let's not forget the Chicken Pot Hand Pie... buttery and flaky as you bite through the outside making your way in... the light cream, chunks of chicken with green peas, carrots, celery and onions fills your mouth with a homey new twist of a Chicken Pot Pie. The seasoning was perfect... it was not heavy and not overwhelmed with seasoning.
