“Best bread anywhere in the Pittsburgh area…worth our 30 minute drive to buy!! And if you want to treat yourself to the BEST cinnamon roll - buy one and savor it!! Flavor is incredible and one roll can feed 2 people easily!! If they ever make the flat non-iced sugar sprinkled cinnamon rolls again- I will buy them all!! “Stopped here on a whim while visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. We were looking to grab a coffee and pastry and found this place close to where we were headed. Let me tell you. I would come here every day!! Delicious. We had an almond croissant, hazelnut croissant and brought some bread home. Just slices the olive loaf. I cannot explain how delicious it is. Keep doing a great job. We will be back when we visit the city again!!“

“I've been there a few times and the cake is always amazing. Lemon, carrot, Snickerdoodle - all great. Today, I tried the churro dulce de leche and it was 11/10.
Staff was nice, place has cute little things for sale as well.

“Tons of options. Very very quick for a lunch stop everything is already prepared in the cooler waiting to be chosen! They have salads, sauces, sandwiches, pastries, pasta, coffee drinks, and things to take home and make as well like pasta + sauce. Will definitely be back the service was extremely fast, very friendly + very clean!! There are a few tables outside when it’s nice but no seating inside. More of a take out experience here.“

“We just received a shipment of the caramel, sea salt chocolate drenched biscotti. They are divinely delicious! Just as we remembered from a trip we took last summer to Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. I told my husband that from now on, we will never send people flowers. “I have a severe gluten intolerance, but I step in to enjoy the scents. My son has loved every pastry he has tasted, and my husband swears by the pierogies. The staff is always friendly. The coffee isn't the greatest, but it does the job.

“We tried Dosa Cupcakes for the first time and we are so happy we did! The cupcakes were beautiful as well as delicious and not too sweet! We tried the blueberry lemon, the chocolate peanut butter and the strawberry pretzel salad cupcake (great for sweet and salty)…all 3 fantastic! We also tried the shortbread dippers too..so good! I wish we took pictures of our goodies but we ate them too fast!! Also what a friendly couple running this business! Always outgoing and willing to spend time describing their cupcakes to customers with a smile. Also come to find out they have a store front too in Pitcairn and they do much more than just cupcakes. When you see them out and about…. Definitely give them a try!“

“Cakes by Colby made what seemed like a difficult choice a super easy one! From moment one walking in the door, you could see the artistry in her work and where her specialties lay. The tasting was a delight, and if anything we ate waaaaay too much while were there, but it was all so incredibly good! Fast forward to the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch and the cake was absolutely gorgeous! She took reference images we provided and went above and beyond, it was elegant without being pretentious and truly lovely on top of being delicious as well. Our guests raved about it too. Can’t recommend Fran and Cakes by Colby enough!!“

“I would not expect to enjoy gluten-free bread, however, a chance encounter with Wild Rise’s Sourdough bread was a surprising epiphany. Toasted, with peanut butter or almond butter, and a little honey, it’s an incredible lunch. And I’m used to eating gluten rich breads, and meats for lunch. I can truly say the flavors and textures are as satisfying to me as what I normally eat for lunch… I am amazed! Give this stuff a try!“
