Not only are their beers unique and tasty, but they generally have something that will please everyone.Some of the best beers I've had have come from Hitchhiker and while their cans are good in a pinch, their on tap beers are well worth the trip.My only knock is they need to expand somewhere else with more seating and do a food menu of their own rather than relying on food trucks which can be hit or miss (can't remove a star for that since it's clear this is only a taproom) .The staff is great and attentive and let you try something so you don't get a glass of something you will hate.Getting seating here sometimes can be problematic in the winter months; but their stuff is top shelf and worth it.One of my top 5 breweries in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.“

It's not a particularly large venue, nor a warm and cozy place, but they're definitely churning out some decent brews here. The barrel aged stout and west coast IPA were really very good. They've got a 3.91 (of 5) average rating on Untappd, and that's pretty good ?“
“Our favorite place. We come with my 1 and 4 year girls probably 3 times per month and they love it. Great for kids with a simple menu and great beer. Fair pricing and staff that cares. Last weekend I was solo-parenting and it was pouring down rain so I brought my girls up for a quick bite. I can’t recall who it was but the worker was super helpful as she could see me myself with two little ones and they brought our food to us along with drinks and helped my older daughter put her used cups in the wash bin. They clearly see the value in being a place that caters to young families and kids and if I could give 6 stars I would“

“This is the first time trying Recon. I saw they did fish during lent so we gave it a try tonight. It was delicious!! The breading was very tasty and we were very happy with everything (and the lady who took our order over the phone was super friendly and nice!). Will be ordering again as I see they have more than just fish there!!“

“Everything was absolutely amazing. I had the RGB burger and fries with rust dust (lemon pepper ranch). My husband had a chicken Caesar salad. We also had a pretzel to start. All of the beer was clean and well made. Definitely will be back again even if it's an hour away from us.“

“Doordash botched an order and the new owner took full responsibility and made it right for us without needing any contact from us or the app. Which lbr usually you only find out your order is wrong AFTER you've received it and have to deal with CS. Correcting the platforms mistake and taking the time to get our entire order to us alone deserves thousands of stars, but I'll have to settle with a measly five. We already have visited quite a few times, but are all the more happy to keep doing so knowing there's awesome folks like this working there.“
“This was our first time at BJs brewhouse and the experience was excellent.Lori Jo was our waitress and she was so attentive, gave great recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable. We had our 2 year old son with us and will absolutely be back because of the service she provided us.The food was delicious and absolutely worth every penny. We had the prime rib special and it was an amazing value for everything we got.10/10 would recommend.“

They had a nice couch area that was great for everyone to relax from their long drive to western PA. The lil one that we had with us enjoyed the people watching and the ability to stretch his legs around the table.“
