“Great food, but they don't offer any free items even if you're spending a lot of money there. It's difficult to park in front of the restaurant to pick up your order. It's best to go up a street and find parking in that wider street area with loads of parking and then walk to the restaurant.“

“As close as I have gotten to Seattle style teriyaki joint in DE. Grilled meat on rice with sauce- seems so easy, but just isn’t that common. Will go back whenever I have teriyaki craving. Portions are strong.

One note for owners- the sauce is much less sweet and sticky than I am used to getting in Seattle. Maybe try that out as a sauce option - we do like our sweet/sticky BBQ sauces and Seattle Teriyaki places cater to that.“

“You will find some of the best vegan food on the East Coast at this restaurant. Sue is an extraordinary cook and makes the best ginger salad dressing you will ever taste. The buffet is served on Friday evenings, and Saturdays & Sundays for lunch and dinner. The selection is huge with many original dishes and will take many tastings to discover all the delicacies. For approximately $27 per person it is a bargain. It includes salads, soups and a multitude of appetizers and main courses as well as a dessert and you can order vegan ice cream as an additional item. If any dish is picked through or run out mention it to the servers and they will get the kitchen to refill. A slightly more expensive buffet is served on special holidays and occasions and has an assortment of very special dishes added to the regular buffet. There's also an extensive a la carte menu and once again you may have to go many times to experience all the different wonderful options. Some highlights include the excellent corn chowder, tasty cumin 'lamb' skewers served on a stick, the sauteed string beans with garlic and chili peppers, and our favorite: A wide noodled lasagna with tofu, string beans and hot peppers. “My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“First impressions, trying to park was a bit confusing I still don't know if parking where I did is right. there is a small area around the restaurant that seems like it could be parking but no lines or guidance out front. Also this place is really small looking on the outside. As soon as I walked in it felt really awkward.i almost walked back out because everyone was just staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever the sushi chef greeted me. When I was seated the waitress took my order and served me promptly. The miso soup was delicious. The edamame tasted fresh. The prices are a bit more than what I'm use to. I also had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. The fish tasted very fresh and cleaned very well. Which explains the price. I would come back. The Tuna Dumplings are amazing and the special rolls on the white board are always delicious. “Wednesday I came up the escalator to find that there is a buy 2 get 1 free sushi special on Wednesdays! I haven’t gotten sushi here in quite some time, but am soooo happy I did. Shrimp Tempura, Yellowtail Scallion, and Salmon rolls for $18?? And it was extremely fresh, I can’t emphasize the quality of this sushi for the price. I feel like the shrimp tempura could have been cut in larger pieces to avoid them falling apart as much but hey it’s all going in my tummy anyway.

“5 stars all around for great food, service, and atmosphere. I came in there Saturday night with my fiancée and ordered all you can eat sushi, and it was amazing. The goyza appetizer was also amazing. On street parking was also a breeze (at least in my experience). Will definitely be coming back“

“For an airport eatery, I found the service and the selection better than expected! I had lots of fresh choices and everyone was eager to please. I went with the chicken tempura and sticky rice dish and can’t wait to get back and order it again, it was that good. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“This is the current highest quality Chinese food in at least 50 miles. The food is always fresh and never taste or smells old. They use fresh ingredients. I've ordered from other places and got old rotted meat, but Sakura Teriyaki is always fresh. They have big juicy whole shrimps instead of the processed frozen shrimps. You can really taste the difference in quality when ordering food here. It's always fresh and delicious.I'm knocking down one star because they didn't give chop sticks or spicy mustard with our order. Also, when did places stop giving complimentary egg rolls? Also, if you order egg rolls without specifying a meat, they'll just give you basic vegetable egg rolls without asking any questions. The person taking the order should make more of an effort to make sure you're getting what you want instead of just putting in an order by checking off boxes. Other than that, this is the ONLY place where I will go to get Chinese food because it's the best Chinese food.“
