“We stopped by here for a quick tasting. I love that you can mix and match the tasting of their wines and beer. For the beers I had the Nudder and an outstanding double IPA (I'm a bit of an IPA snob) called Bonczek. It's hoppy and not too malty unlike most double IPAs. I had the Merlot, the Cabernet and the Runaway Red. I enjoyed the Cabernet the most a traditional Cabernet taste. The merlot unfortunately is like most east coast merlots and just not enough tannins the Runaway Red was a smooth table wine easy to drink but missing some depth. The ambiance in their sitting room is relaxing and the chairs are comfortable. The service was great. Now we were the only ones in there but it also made it feel like we owned the place. If you are nearby stop in and do a wine and beer tasting.”

“A little bar with a lot of character. Built in th 1800 starting as a hotel maybe even brothel has chanced many hands. The Tilten' Hilten is its nick name as the building has over the years began so sag a bit.”

“We’ve passed by for years. Today I stopped in to get breakfast to go. I am so glad I did !!! Homemade Biscuit egg and ham(not lunch meat) was delicious. I do not believe that you can’t mess up breakfast, you absolutely can with low quality food. This place WAS NOT that. Loved it. “Marks is a great local place, check out their steak dinner Saturdays and fish fry Fridays during lent! We stopped this weekend and dinner was cheap, the soup and desserts were great, and the steak was awesome. I'll be sad when he finally sells it!!”

“Picked up (2) 1/2 bar b que chickens and some ribs to go. Chicken were small but good, ribs were pieces of meat with some sauce in a sandwich size Styrofoam box, sauce tasted good.”

“I have never had a bad meal here. The entrance through the hotel can be a little sketchy, but the service and the food are always excellent. My husband enjoys the El Gordo burrito, and my personal favorite is the enchiladas de mole, but everything we have had from here has been delicious, and the portions are enough to eat for 2 meals lol.”

I was driving through a scenic route from Pittsburgh to Binghmaton and stayed overnight nearby. My only beef is that I might have liked a few more top-offs of my coffee. Everything was a bit pricey, yes, but I understand it isn't cheap to live right now and small, independent businesses who work hard earn the money I give them.”

“Food is amazing every time fom the apps, to the burgers to the kids selections. We had the gouda mac and cheese bites(amazing), Philly cheeseteak eggrolls(couldn't believe how great they were), kids mac and cheese with chicken bites(our 3 year old ate ALL the mac and cheese which RARELY happens) and an All American burger(not greasy like other places). Needless to say, just on those items, we were stuffed with some goodies to take home and snack on later. Twigs has been and always will be one of my favorite stops for the last 20+ years”

“We love LOVE love their breakfast menu. Unless we are out of town, you will find our whole family there every Saturday morning and have been for several years. You'd think we'd get bored with the menu, but it's still my favorite thing about Saturday mornings. We enjoy the staff and indulge in the bakery every now and then, too. Typically, we order our pies here for the holidays and have ordered birthday cakes and other treats. In warmer weather, we've brought our dogs with us for meals at the outdoor seating and the staff has been so welcoming for the pups. Can't say enough good things.”

“Friday night, 9/18/20, I went to Perkins in Tunkhannock and had HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I asked to speak to a Manager and the woman that came to talk to me was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and said that they were busy. There were 4 tables occupied. HER NAME WAS MARLINDA. I have NEVER dealt with a person so rude!!!!! I asked her for corporate's number and she REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME!!!!! I called this morning and spoke with Jeff who repeatedly apologized for the nonsense last night and assured me that he would contact his head manager and regional manager. He also gave me the corporate number which I will be calling Monday. Because of him I will be going back but will never deal with Marlinda again, if I see her I will leave and go somewhere else.”

“Whenever we venture to Tunkhannock, T&R’s is always a go-to. Their food is always delicious, the staff is always respectful, kind, and quick. And they always seem to be open when we are around! (Usually later in the day). Will always come back!”
