“I'm told this place has the first liquor license in PA. Fran lives upstairs and still makes the chili, which was hearty and delicious. Be prepared for the smokey atmosphere, as Fran's is grandfathered under non-smoking law. Fran opened this place when she was 25, in 1950's! And it's the only place in town to sit down for a drink. Several Beam & Cokes and a big bowl of chili--$17!!! Need I say more?”

“Planned to order for an event 8-10-25 . Hours on door said opens at 12:30. At 5:00 pm, the place is dark and nobody around. In a small town ,a business will die quickly if not dependable.”

It’s such a great space to have lunch, take a break with the little’s & grab a snack, to having a business meeting or catching up with a friend. Sweet staff, delicious drinks & food, and clean space. I do not suggest going the first week I mean all you can, but the line is gonna be really long the first couple weeks that they open back up and last”

“There was a lot of items for sale to check out. Plenty of seating and coffee was good. BUT not one employee there greeted us or even asked how we were. When checking out the machine was placed in front of us to check out and the girl walked away didn't say thanks...come again....have a good day...NOTHING. Just didn't feel very welcoming at all.”

Two tears of cake that was out of this world delicious! Bursting with strawberry flavor and oozing with sweet buttercream goodness! My son absolutely loved the cake and ate several small pieces of it throughout the week even after his party! The cake served over 40 people, and there was still some left for the remainder of the week. Amy is friendly, organized, and timely! She had everything ready to go and her prices are outstandingly reasonable! I highly recommend this Hometown Business for your next sweet tooth celebration! 🎊”

“The first I ate there in awhile. Got both sweet & hot wings along with Brian's speciality. Wings cooked perfectly and sauce on point. Never had Italian sub from there and it reminded me of Sheppards farms going towards Confluence. Excellent food and customer service.”
