Service at Balches is nothing short of excellent. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to make your visit special. They recommended dishes based on my preferences, and their suggestions were spot on. The food was awesome!
Old family dinner looking place, but the food is awesome! I have never had anything there I didn't love.Wheelchair accessibility: You're better off parking on the right side of the building if you have a wheelchair. It's too hard to turn around if you go up the left side of the ramp.

I can only account for the broiled captain’s combo, as it’s been my go-to dish every time I’ve ordered (dine in or takeout) for over 15 years now. A haddock filet with a crumb topping, 5 or 6 scallops, 6 or 7 shrimp and two sides. Can’t go wrong with the red potatoes and rice.
