From a Texas burger to a chicken stir fry, the portions were generous and the food was delicious 😋. We were seeking a family-friendly restaurant with an affordable menu due to a rainstorm, and we had forgotten to thaw meat during our stay at a local state campground. “I went to mamma's for years. By the way, the remodeling was done by the original momma's, not the oners that's there now. Mimma and Rosario made the pizza shop from 1982-2018, the whole family took pride in what they did, and always gave too others.”

“If you're in Newport and looking for a drink, this is the place. It's not pretty, but it is the epitome of a hole in the wall. Beware, they allow smoking but not vaping inside. Drinks were reasonably priced. Patrons and staff alike were friendly.

Parking: It's best to park in town and just walk as there aren't really any parking options at the bar itself.”

“I took a school group of about 15 teenagers recently. I called ahead and was impressed that they had tables pushed together and were all set up for us when we got there. Their pizza was fantastic and reasonably priced. A gluten free member was able to order a beautiful chicken salad. Everyone was friendly, service was fast and staff was accommodating. I definitely recommend!”

“The wines are very good and the pizza is amazing. Visited on a beautiful Saturday in November and had a great time. The only issue i have is all of the signs telling us what we can or can't do. Is there really a big enough concern about people bringing in outside food or moving tables that you need signs everywhere? Even the cashier reminding us to throw our trash away when we were finished seemed really unnecessary.”

“I have given this store a lot of business since the day they opened up for business. Food is good but the lady at the the register with the long pony tail is one of the rudest people I have ever met, she's down right nasty and mean. Not sure if I'll be back because of her. Shame”
