I was very impressed with the whole staff.. they were very friendly and engaging answered any questions we had and made us feel welcomed. the process was easy and laid back and before you know it you're in the water on a heavyweight durable tube and gently cruising down the Majestic River. as you navigate your way down the river surrounded by beautiful Lush scenery you begin to understand what's so special about this place. I truly felt connected to Nature no phones no BS from the outside world no politics..all of its just disappeared. “This place has the perfect name!!! Not that it’s a “dirty ole tavern” literally. But it gives you that traditional dive bar where everyone knows everyone and it’s a locals only type crowd. The kitchen is excellent and the fryers are well maintained with clean and filtered oils regularly. Prices are reasonable and the vibe is chill. “I highly recommend this place as a potential event space. I booked the upstairs room for my wedding’s after-party. I was offered a few different booking options and all were extremely reasonable compared to some other event places in Lancaster city. Even though it’s not along the main row of bars on King Street, it’s a quick walk from the Mariott. Kayley, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. I also worked with Tony who knocked it out of the park. He provided a cooler full of beers and pizza for my guests for a very reasonable cost. It was really nice to have a bar in the upstairs area close to the back event room. So many of the guests talked about the after-party and how much they enjoyed the dance floor. I highly recommend reaching out to QSB for a future event.“

“When friends come to town we go to Bully’s. It is the place to go for casual upscale dining in Columbia. I have been taking guests there since Dave and Sherry opened 25 years ago and have always had a great experience. There are always great choices on the menu and the atmosphere is fun and historic. The unique wedge shaped site at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Union Street features plenty of parking and an onsite bakery. The owners are great supporters of the community and have been hands-on in all aspects of the operation. Well appointed guest rooms are available above the restaurant. “The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

“Had the best time at Reflections Restaurant to celebrate my dads retirement. I have a almost three year old with that said this place was just so nice going in at 3pm - we had a little area to ourselves and the food was amazing. I never order a pork chop anywhere as well ya... lol but thanks to this page ans what i read on reviews it was by far the best meal i had in a long time. My girl ordered the pizza didnt touch any of it as she was too busy eating my pork chop and her grand parents yummy meat loaf and truffle mac and cheese All of us left stuffed and happy It was just too darn yummy ! “I get takeout from Highland from time when I am down that way for my regular chiropractic appointments (my chiropractor is right next door over at Universal Athletic Club). My absolute favorite is the Highland Special Pizza, which is basically like a supreme pizza. I can say hands-down that is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my 46 years on this earth. I have also gotten their Highland Cheesesteak (contains beef steak, sautéed onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and pepperonis, topped with a homemade marinara sauce, and American cheese), chicken quesadillas and their cheesesteak eggrolls. They are all super good and what made me decide to try them out was that I would be in the parking lot over at the gym going to my chiropractor and I would smell the food from Highland and drove me crazy lol. Glad I finally decided to give them a try. I recommend them to everybody I know.“

“This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

“I can’t say enough about the customer service, I came in to pick up a take out order and it wasn’t ready. After waiting a little bit the front desk went to check on it and said they were a little bit behind which ok it was busy and prime dinner time on a Friday. Not long after another employee came out to tell me they’re so sorry that the kitchen is behind and offered me a free drink of my choice, I passed it up and instead they gave me two growlers to go, mind you I was ok with waiting on my food I wasn’t complaining just waiting patiently. It was like 15min past the time they gave me ok, no biggie. When I finally got home to eat all the food was amazing and hot. In today’s world this really means a-lot, I love supporting local!! “Last Saturday night for the first time in several years, I made my return to Rocky Springs. I brought one of my friends along from Lebanon because I wanted him to try it out. overall, we did like our experience. However, we do have some constructive criticism to consider here. The lane we were on which was number 31 was completely burned up especially for my friends bowling ball and he is a much better bowler then I am he wasn’t even doing as good as he should’ve been. So my recommendation is to make sure the lanes are freshly oiled so the balls can hook better, and hopefully increase our scores. On the website, you guys advertise 34 lanes while there was a lane number 34. We only saw 26 of them number 9 through 34. Another thing based on the timing. The only choice we had was the bowl by the hour. The good news for us was we were able to get a lot of games in during that time, however, having said that there was no option for us the bowel and pay by the game. Finally the most important criticism I will say as much as I do like glow bowling I think it is unique and fun the two downsides are you can’t see the lanes as much and the timing was the worst part of it. You should not be doing that during 430 in the afternoon if it’s 8 o’clock or later at night like when I first went years ago when it was dark no problem that’s what makes it more fun, if you guys can take this into consideration, it will make you a better bowling alley and will increase a better experience at least for me. Next time I come the next time I will probably come is when there’s no glow bowling going on so I can get a better experience for myself otherwise I do recommend this place to anyone in the Lancaster area.“

As someone with severe food sensory issues, I love that there are so many items on the menu that I can eat! Pizza is my go-to but I am branching out and trying other dishes. “Our waiter, Curtis, was EXCELLENT! We had 11 people in our party - 5 children (10, 6 and 5 years old, & 2 two-year-olds). We had a very active group. Curtis was very patient, attentive, accurate and friendly. He knew the menu and sought to give us a good experience as we were there celebrating an achievement of one of our party. The food was DELICIOUS! The children ate their food with no complaints and the adults couldn’t say enough good things about the variety of food we ordered. The children had macaroni & cheese and hot dogs. The adults had crab bisque, tomato bisque, BBQ boneless wings, pub fries, cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, grilled chicken salad, burgers, etc. The PRICE was very reasonable. We had three people on our bill and it came to $75 (appetizer & soft drinks with our meals for the10-year-old and two adults). I am not one to write reviews but this has been one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I whole heartedly recommend Mick’s in Mount Joy. I’m sure the other servers are very good - but ask for CURTIS!! He was excellent!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!“
