“Decided to give this place a try instead of Chipotle. Not disappointed! We ordered two burritos, chips and queso. Everything was very yummy. I like that they mix it, that definitely is different than Chipotle. I will say one of the burritos was much smaller than the other. Everyone seemed very nice minus the one lady who first takes your order. Maybe she was having a bad day but she seems pissed off. Other than that four stars for this place for sure.“

“The Veggie burritos that we ordered to go today were fantastic. Except..we ordered Steak and Chicken Burritos 😡 This is the third time it's happened within my family. I work hard and value every dollar I earn. Which is why it's so disheartening when businesses steal them from me, repeatedly. There is nothing more disappointing than getting our food home to discover it's missing the main ingredients..ingredients that we paid for. “Skipped breakfast so I was halfway looking for a brunchy option when I stumbled into El Tikal. With a quality lunch special section, plus your everyday Mexican favorites and a great variety of meat, seafood and veggie dishes, I had a hard time deciding. I'm usually a combo order kind of guy, but I had to throw together my own little lunch variety pack, add Santa Fe (breakfast) burrito. Plantains always hit for me, but these were extra caramelized and gooey so I had to portion them out between the beginning and end of the meal. The mole sauce on the chili relleno was smokey and not as spicy, but really well-balanced. The tamale with red sauce seemed less flavorful than the other dishes, but I'm no tamale expert and I've been hanging out with a lot of Italians recently. The Santa Fe burrito was out of this world: the eggs, nice and crumbly with tons of seasoning and flavor, the cheese-covered chorizo oozing into each bite. I need this again, and I'm sure there's so many other incredible things on the menu to explore, but this is truly a hearty and unique item worth coming back for.“

“Fantastic place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. The homemade chips and guacamole were fresh and addictive, and the cemita campechana was absolutely packed with flavor. Two hot sauces rounded off the dish, each with their own unique kick. “I’m shocked I haven’t reviewed Fiesta prior to this and I’m even more surprised that their Google rating is under 4. Never eaten at the restaurant, only take out. However, this is the best Mexican in the Scranton area in my opinion. Everything is always super fresh and the portions are very large. Highly recommend the Birria tacos and the guac is one of the best I’ve ever had. Again, I don’t know what the experience is like eating in. But for authentic Mexican takeout it hits the spot every single time.“

“Excellent homemade & authentic Mexican food. We stopped by around 2:45pm, and the food was amazing. Mixed meat tacos on corn tortillas, and sopes. The side sauces that came with the meal were superb. Perfectly sweetened horchata as well. On our way out, we grabbed one of the pastries —- pan de leche (?)— reminded of an egg custard meets pound cake meets cheesecake. We will come back again soon.“

“It is fast service through the drive through and good service. It is funny I went to a couple Taco Bells recently and they both gave me an extra soft drink with the meal; I guess they forget they give you it before the meal and then give you another by accident when they give you the food. I didn't even notice myself as we put it in the cup holder both times and got suprised twice. It was pretty funny. They had nice people though and good food. I recommend the value boxes they have for $5/$7/$9. I had them all, and get the appropriate one for hunger level.“
