“Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. Always a 24 hour go to spot.Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and when my kids were little and used to tey to act wild noone ever complained. I know they used to give out crayons for coloring.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access ramp“

“This was my second visit - last one Sept 2023 4 star. Today I had probably the best diner breakfast I've had anywhere and I road trip for a diner. My country skillet was exceptional and generous - I brought 1/2 home. Coffee was hot and filled as often as I needed. My server was attentive and very pleasant. I will be recommending this diner for anyone who is hungry and demands excellence!“

“My mom & I just picked up breakfast takeout for us & my grandma and just WOW!!! We loved absolutely everything we ordered! The biscuits are delicious & filling, the portions for the price are amazing and I had the best chocolate chip pancake I think I ever had in my life! The pancakes are big & fluffy. The side of meat was two pieces of scrapple which was wonderful as with most places you only get one piece. The toast was pre buttered & yummy. I just can't say enough good things, I am just happy that this place is so close to us & that we were able to get takeout before they closed at noon. Waiting for our food bags we enjoyed taking in all of the diner decor, the place is so adorable & hasn't changed since I was a little kid, I just regret not coming back sooner. Will definitely make a point to dine in often. The atmosphere is awesome & the tiny place gets packed but there is plenty of parking! They know how to cook good breakfast & with it being my fave meal of the day, I was more than satisfied.“

“Visiting from out of town and noticed this diner. Food was typical diner fare. Probably the best tasting and smelling pancakes I’ve ever had.The only odd thing was that when we walked in, everyone just started staring at us. Definitely appears to be a neighborhood diner without any tourists.They the pancakes. Worth the trip just for them.“

“The good ole fashioned diner's like this need to be around till the end of time.? My wife and I just moved back from Florida last week, born and raised in Lancaster County. We went here on Sunday and it was wonderful!! Great people, wonderful staff, our waitress was awesome and fun!! The food was GREAT, tasty and wonderful portions!! We love diner's and Hallamshire is now already a favorite we will patronize many more times to come!!“

“It was a spur of the moment stop, and we're glad we did. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a very friendly woman who showed us to a table. Immediately our waitress appeared with a smile and peppy attitude. Checked out the menu...a good amount of food to choose from...and decent servings. Definitely will return ?“

“This is your typical diner with you typical comfort food. I had a breakfast meal (2 eggs over easy, home fries, Scrapple, and wheat toast) that was pretty normal - nothing special. This is a good place to eat on a regular basis for whatever meal that you don't feel like cooking and cleaning up after yourself.The restaurant was neat and clean. The men's room was neat and clean. However, it didn't have a clean smell.I would recommend that you stop in and give this place a try.“
