“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. “I used to go to JJJ regularly when I lived in Lancaster. I moved to Delaware in 2020, and this was my first time back to JJJ since then - and it was as good as I remember, perhaps even better! I love the atmosphere in the bar (although the drink pours could stand to be a little heavier). Our server, Bill, was excellent. He took a lot of time to review the menu and share more details about some of the dishes, and he made some great recommendations. His service was very attentive and the food was outstanding. It came out piping hot and was presented beautifully. Bill offered dessert, but we were stuffed!“

“We have been going there for decades. Generous portions (at good prices) give at least one more meal from leftovers. Rarely have room for the good-looking desserts, but when we do, they are great. “We ordered the drunken noodles and basil chicken. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were not cooked properly at all — they were so undercooked that we couldn’t chew them. We mentioned this to our server, and he promptly took the dish away and asked if we would like something else instead.
What really stood out was his excellent customer service. He remembered that we had asked about the fried rice earlier and immediately offered to get that for us. He handled the situation without hesitation or making us feel uncomfortable. That kind of attentive and gracious service is something you don’t find at every restaurant, and we really appreciated it.
Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I visit different Thai restaurants whenever I get the chance, so I have quite a few places to compare it with. The basil chicken and the replacement dish were also not particularly impressive in terms of taste.
Perhaps we happened to visit on an off day, or maybe the kitchen was preparing food quickly because we arrived closer to closing time. Looking at the other reviews, our experience seems quite different from what many other customers have had.

Overall, the service was excellent, especially our server, but unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations on this visit. I would consider giving Sukhothai another try because the customer service was genuinely appreciated.“

“This is one of the best places to get tea, they use lactose free milk so it’s enjoyable for all.. the family is there every day, they’re nice, but most of all Kung Fu Tea (it is a national chain) uses high quality teas from oolong, jasmine green, matcha (the jasmine green is the best) and fruits with real fruit, quality toppings, boba, aloe, grass jelly, clouds, cheese foam, ext. An upside..the onigiri style rice balls, takoyaki snacks, and most of all the grab machine!!!“
