“Mary's Vine is one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. The food, drinks, and ambiance are out of this world. The speakeasy downstairs is so cool. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. If you haven't been you are missing out. I can't say enough about how great this place is.“

“I walked in and immediately love the quiet and elegant atmosphere. I tried their scallop shrimp risotto, pork chops, tartar, pate. The pork chops were well cooked and tender. But other parts of the chop were a little dry and salty. The risotto was creamy as I expected. The tartar was lean and flavorful. I think the only dish I thought was lacking was the dessert - sponge cake. Definitely wasn’t my cup of tea.The service was amazing and the fact that you get to see the professional chefs move to make these amazing dishes- I love it.“

“Looking for that truly special restaurant? Spork in Garfield is it! I can't stop thinking about our experience at this chef-led restaurant. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience. What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. The team works with small producers, grows some of their own produce + herbs, and mills their own grain for house made bread. My favorite sip was the "So Long Frankie Louise" cocktail and my favorite bite was the homemade bread roll. When you get a reservation here expect out of this world food & service plus:- Truly great alcohol free options including mocktails, zero proof beer & wine Surprise bites throughout your meal.- Lots of choice & small plates - great for the table to try a little of a variety of dishes.- This is such a unique spot to book for that special occasion.Definitely go hungry and be prepared to be well nourished!“

“I wish I could give Hidden Harbour more than five stars cause they deserve it. Absolutely top notch in every way, Hidden Harbour is Pittsburgh's essential immersive tiki bar experience. We had drinks, the Port Light and the Painkiller, the fish tacos, the coconut chicken dumplings and the Crying Tiger Steak. Simply put...just delicious. A perfect experience.Kid-friendliness: They have off-menu items specifically for kids. Ask your waitress or waiter.“
“Wonderful cocktails, but I especially love the Gingerade, which is spicy fresh ginger and I can't get enough of it. Besides the front bar, there is a large event space in the back which is quite versatile. This place has reasonable prices, and a commitment to sustainability through recycling and reuse. The staff are amazing and welcoming.“

“You have not lived till you’ve been to this bar, if you’re lonely, or it’s hard for you to make friends GO HERE. The staff are so nice my first night they gave me a free drink because I told them I was new to Pittsburgh and they wanted to welcome me! Plus the second time I came they remembered me after a few weeks ! This place feels like a legit family, not to mention their drinks are incredible and delicious… they can make anything you want and still give it their own spin and create edible art! GO GO GO!“

“Can’t rate this place high enough. Every time my family has dined in we are treated like family and leave with full bellies and happy hearts. We love to come as large groups and order from their Family style menu for larger portions to charge. The Roman pizza is unique in the area and we love it. The homemade pasta divine is our favorite. The espresso martinis are made with in-house vanilla infused vodka and real espresso! 20 drafts on tap! Wine on tap for Prosecco floats?! We always make sure to save room for the best gelato in the states! So many tasty options. We recommend the Wild Italian Cherry and the Orange Julio with candied oranges. The sweat cream topped with espresso affogato style is to die for ? The whole team are rockstars. Reservations are easy to make and change online. We love the clean open kitchen and the vibe of the dining room space as well as the bar.Kid-friendliness: Foosball table!Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple entryways, ramp to bar“

“Updated review since coming for dinner on a Sunday night when our other plans fell through, and neither of us wanted to cook. We had a GREAT time sitting at a high top by the bar. I enjoyed my cocktail. The kale salad was delicious and so large we got four servings out of it (one each for dinner, and again with our leftovers). Look at hubby mugging over this enormous tower of food that is the Dante's Beak "handheld" with a Nashville hot chicken thigh. (It is very hot--they're not lying.) And then there were the pumpkin gnudi: so soft, so creamy, so pillowy. Alas, they didn't travel or heat up well, but in the moment, they were heavenly. Prices were fair for service, food, drink, and ambience. Men's room is at the back, women's room is on the righthand side of the dining room. We'll definitely return when we're in Regent Square again.“

“The staff and patrons are really lovely here. You can enjoy good food and good drinks at a reasonable price. The only thing keeping me from becoming a regular is that they allow smoking, and I know it is not good to sit in an enclosed space breathing in the secondhand smoke for so long.“

“Two words: hidden gem. Commerce Bar has a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere. The cocktails are expertly crafted by skilled bartenders that take pride in their work. It shows in the finished product. The vibe here is both relaxed and upscale. As a plant lover, I loved the photos trailing from the planters along the skylight. The music is unique.“
“Tried but couldn't get a table at Piccolo Forno - owned by the same folks as Grapperia Bar Classico. Instead, we ordered take out from Piccolo Forno and ate at the bar. The bar staff were awesome! They provided us plates and silverware and were very welcoming. They have a good wine selection and an even better selection of different varieties of grappa and amaro. Definitely give Grapperia Bar Classico a try when you're in Pittsburgh!“

“The summit has been one of my favorite places since the day it opened. They have hands down the BEST Mac and cheese I've ever had. (I literally call and ask if they have it, believe me, if you know, you know!) they have the most creative cocktails and an amazing staff. I love the chill vibe with candles and dim lights. I newly found an extreme love for their smash burger as well. I'll be back, often!“
“The place and space were totally cool! An awesome experience, finding your way in, finding the extras, all the ambience, and the seating! Drinks were fantastic! Mixologist was working his tail off but managed very well! Do yourself a favor and check it out! All of the staff were accommodating and extra nice! There was no food, but I was required to give it a star.“
“My husband and I had a great time experiencing The Puttery for the first time. We had the unlimited package and played five rounds of golf. This includes three 9 hole courses that you can play as many times as you choose. We also took advantage of the food and drinks. Drinks are allowed on the course and each hole has a stand for you to rest your drinks while you putt. For dinner I had the appetizer, potato flautas, and my husband had the BBQ bacon burger. Each were delightful. The decor on the courses and throughout the building was so much fun. I really enjoyed the different seating selections for dining as well. Linda was the host for the Garage course the day we were there. She was super sweet and seemed to love her job so much! We would recommend this place to many and would definitely come again if we are in Pittsburgh .“

“I moved away from Pittsburgh a couple years ago and I always regretted not trying Scratch & Co. I finally got a little reunion group together for brunch when I came back in town for a wedding, and I was blown away. The decor is charming, artful, and full of thoughtful antique restoration mixed with modern touches. The food was absolutely fantastic, I had the smash burger and also tried the bagel with schmear and shakshuka. So rare to find really good bagels in Pittsburgh and Scratch & Co. has them! I had an old fashioned donut as well which was also awesome. And the service was perfection as well. We had a great time, I can't wait to come back, I only wish I had made it more often before I left.“

“Excellent place to eat and get a drink and hang out with friends. Family friendly, food for all people, vegan gluten free or standard food. A lot of seating also seating outside in tents with lights and warmers inside. Hostess was fantastic, very clean. We were there around 6 45 and stayed until just after 9. Nice part of town took an Uber there and back to save on parking. Not your typical bar type atmosphere. Cant wait to go again. Had a great time. “Restaurant is actually accessible (not just "pittsburgh accessible" lol), no entrance stairs and it's all on one floor, including bathrooms and outdoor space. There is a parking lot across the street with curb cuts but it crosses a pretty steep street. Food is decent gastro pub fare (I think they have a gluten free fryer but not 100% sure) and the staff act like they are happy to have you.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is one floor no stairs“

“Most bartenders deserve a 5 star rating but I sat at the bar one day for 20 mins before the gentleman next to me called the bartender over to get my order. She was too worried about her phone. I'll be back, just later in the day when the 2nd shift comes “

“I always enjoy a great homemade Italian meal at G'S. With good friends, conversations, locals, and staff, " G " the owner, makes this GEM extra special. The chef's culinary delighs deliver everytime. From fresh fish, baked chicken to homemade pasta & bread, I always have the best dinner at G's. I've asked for off-the menu dinners, and PERFECTION. Afterwards, I always enjoy the evening while sipping my after dinner drink listening to live music ?. When you're in Bloomfield and want great food, romance, fun, good conversation and company, G'S is the go too. ? Much love, Madeline.“

“We wnt to Gordos for my daughters boyfriend birthday dinner Sunday evening, .....Gordos on Shiloh in Mt Washington, we really enjoyed out food, jocee got the Nashville hot chicken tacos and her bf and I got the barbque chicken tacos ????? they were bomb, the street corn ??was fire , i can't remember what kind his aunt got but she tore them up, so obviously they were ??the queso was bomb as well the portion could have been a lil bigger , and the service and atmosphere was great.....also, everything is a la carte so 3 tacos was close to 30 bucks (for each of us) ??♀️, they need to change that, but none the less it was a fun, great time. , I didn't care about the price, overall the experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... Smh the one time I ain't emarazzi taking pics lol, definitely recommend this place“

“This is a fantastic restaurant serving creative pizzas, salads, appetizers and an assortment of entrees ranging from brisket Mac and cheese (my favorite) to salmon, steak and sometimes duck. A very nice feature is that every salad can be bought as a half portion. They do not take reservations, so it's walk in only, but we had no wait getting a party of 7 in around 5 pm. They do get busy by 6. The carnivore, Mediterranean and Forest pizzas are great. The Calabrian could have used more Calabrian chilis. Anything with the house smoked pork belly (bacon candy, BLT salad, carnivore, pesto) is worth getting. My favorite, though is the brisket Mac and cheese. As I wrote in my blog on the best restaurant mac and cheese dishes across the country, "This comes in a hearty ceramic bowl featuring fresh cavatappi spirals in a white cheddar sauce, punctuated by wood-smoked beef brisket, caramelized onions, and a perfectly balanced deep red, tart-sweet barbecue sauce."Service is fabulous. Our waiter did separate checks for our table, and made up a version of southern sweet iced tea using simple syrup for my husband. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants to enjoy before a show in the cultural District.“

“Enjoyed a really tasty meal here with my husband. Our server was very friendly and attentive! We enjoyed the beer, cocktail, and soju selection. I had a pandan high ball that was delicious and had a nice presentation. Our fried chicken was excellent - we tried several of the sauces, sides, and a la cart menu items and enjoyed everything. The kimchi and scotch egg were also standouts! I look forward to coming back and perhaps sitting at the bar to try more dishes and cocktails. It's also a small touch - but I appreciated the chopsticks and cutlery for dining. Everything had a nice weight tk it and it made the meal feel more thoughtful than disposable chopsticks I might have initially expected from an open kitchen and casual, comfortable atmosphere. I appreciate the upgrade!“

“The food at this place as absolutely great. We always compare food with the best Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to (in Arizona) and this is the closest competitor we’ve had so far. The guacamole was great, so were the deserts. The one complaint we had was the music is so loud it’s hard to talk with people at your own table. We wish the music was a little quieter. Other than that, it was great!Parking: We had to park at the bank. It’s pretty difficult to find parking unfortunately.“

“Read the mini bio/mission statement of young Luke Wholey at the front of the restaurant; so charming and somehow makes you feel personally connected. The food we ordered was cooked very well with great freshness, flavor and seasoning. The fish and oysters were excellent. We had the unexpected opportunity to meet and speak with R. Wholey who was very generous with his time in answering questions about the history of the family business. What a treat!Personally observed LW with a broom in hand and doing a quick clean of the stairs then also acting as greeter and host as guests came in. It was our first visit, hopefully not the last, and I hope the restaurant continues to have success and longevity much like the related Wholey's fish market and grocery store down the block.“

“Alla Famiglia is a hidden gem!! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations. Our server Audra guided us through the menu, and we decided to start with the Fried Provolone, smoked to perfection. For our main course, I ordered the gorgonzola filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The gorgonzola sauce added a rich and creamy flavor that was simply divine. We had options for pasta: vodka sauce or the cacio e Pepe. We opted into the cacio e pepe this time around, highly recommend! They make it right in front of you in a giant parmesan wheel. Overall, our experience at Alla Famiglia was outstanding. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.“
