“We went with friends to hang out out before dinner and maybe some karoke. I was pretty surprise at how many really talented people were there singing. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday between 3-6. Most everyone was nice, too. We didn't eat so I couldn't speak of the food but the drinks were reasonable and the service was good.“

And this may be a best-kept secret but the roast pork sandwich with long hots will CRUSH 90% of those in South Philadelphia. Doesn't need the cup of "jus" they include, but you can down it like a shot. Pro tip: Try subbing Cooper Sharp for Provolone.“

I enjoyed conversing with Marin Hoeger, who shared how his team plans to update the menu for healthy options while still retaining the authenticity of this fine establishment. On a personal note, I found Marin and his team to be of most agreeable company and genuinely committed to writing a new and better chapter. “First and foremost, kudos to Nicki who is an excellent and very observant server. The food was good-my meatball parm sandwich was very tasty, and the personalized margherita pizza also delicious. The burger was a little dry and served medium well instead of medium rare. Tutor tots and fries both really yummy and hot. Band playing was absolutely fantastic. Fun place!!“
