“I was in town for an event / work and needed to grab a quick bite. walked into sal's ! the guy behind the counter took my order. I sat in the clean dining room. pizza was awesome! hot and fresh ! it hit the spot ! thank you sal's for the great lunch i will be sure to revisit when I am in the area again 😀“

“Me and a friend were passing by after a 2 hour drive from NJ. The service was great. Waitress said that there was going to be await, expecting 20-30ish mins, but got served in about 10. “By chance i googled pizza places near our hotel and this place came up 5 minutes from where we were staying. Needless to say this was the best New York Style pizza i have ever had. Friendly staff and honestly people who you can tell appreciate the art of pizza making and dang, wish we had this in Ohio!“

“I spent 3 days in Lancaster n I went on one bite pizza appt for best pizza in lancaster n out of the top 100 places only 4 places impressed me n Pizza City was one of them n not far from the motel where I was staying at so, it was a no Brainer. I have tried ALOT of pizza in my life n I do reviews. I was really impressed on how good this was a true NY style pizza. Thin crust, well cooked undercarriage, good amount of tasty sauce with just enough cheese with zero grease. Highly recommend it here n just wished it was closer. Also, prices extremely reasonable to where I live.“

“I ordered for pick up, the mixed cheese sub, with a light amount of cheese, and my order taker, a very nice sweet lady, said she’d go to the kitchen and make sure they put on only the three pieces of cheese I requested! I’ve ordered many times, and she’s always been so friendly and kind.“

“We stopped here on a Saturday night to get Olive Garden’s famous Never Ending Pasta Bowl. It was pretty busy, but our wait was not atrocious (maybe 25 minutes). Olive Garden is always a family favorite for us - it has something for everyone!“

“I am originally from Philly and finding a cheesesteak in Lancaster County has been impossible! I have come to the realization that adding pizza sauce to a cheesesteak is the norm. Adding pizza sauce makes it a Pizza cheesesteak and I am often looked at as crazy when I ask for Ketchup instead of Pizza sauce. I have to say that this Pizza place has hands down the best damn cheesesteaks in Lancaster County. The rolls are not homemade from Pizza dough and are actually soft and delicious. My only complaint would be they are a little light on the meat but that's not going to stop me from visiting again. The older lady at the counter was personable. She greeted everyone with a smile as they walked in the door and her service was spot on! If she was having a rough evening, it didn't show. If you are looking for a REAL cheesesteak, this is the place. Just tell them to hold off on the Pizza sauce!“

“My parents moved from the suburbs of Phila to Mechanicsburg, and my dad hasn't been able to find a restaurant that even sells chicken cacciatore near him. Today they came to Lancaster to visit, & luckily I knew Capricio's did make his favorite meal. The Joy on his face when he saw the item on the menu, was only matched by clearly how delicious the dish was. He finished every bite. My mom loved her chicken fingers and I loved my chicken fajita Stromboli. The crust was crispy, and not too thick.
I'm positive we will be visiting Capricio's every time my parents come to visit me, now. ? 10/10.“

“I finally went inside to eat here after having picked up delicious take-out a couple of times. We were a group of 5 around 7 p.m., about 2 hrs before they closed. The manager was very helpful and inviting, putting some tables together for us and explaining that we order and pay at the counter, and then they'll serve us at the table. Our group included two 80+ year-old guys who both loved the pizza and lasagna they ordered; other items were delicious as well, including a giant Greek salad.
We were gathering the night before a funeral and had not been together in at least two years, so although it could have been a rough night for us, the welcoming staff and delicious food made for a really relaxing family meal. I'll definitely be back!“

“It's been a while since I been here and it didn't disappoint either. I ordered the Special CheeseSteak and wow, Grand slam again!!! As I said before, Best outside of Philadelphia. Our waitress was the best too, Jordan, she had a great personality and was a real gem. Great job in the kitchen. Next time is pizza“

“My girlfriend got the eggplant Parmesan stack and I got some pasta I forget which one it’s been a while but I remember I really liked it. 9/10 it was such a nice day the outdooor seating is perfect for watching the sunset while dining on some amazing Italian cuisine.“

“I was so happy when Mama’s opened up in Ephrata because they had one in Berks where I used to live. We just got the Chicken Fajitas Pizza, fries and Mozzarella Sticks and they were all beyond delicious. Thank goodness we got enough for leftovers for tomorrow 🤣 Y’all want some good pizza and food look no further than here!“
