“We moved from chester county to lancaster county about 15 years ago and have tried just about every pizza place in lancaster to find a place that tasted just as good as home. When we finally hit Sals we new this was the spot! Not only are the people working there are super friendly an awesome....the food is absolutely fantastic!!!! The only place we ever get take out from,and I do mean EVER!!!! And they care about their customers as well. I was very very sick for a few yes and the boss Fabia ( please forgive me my friend if I spelled your name wrong) would ask my hubby how I was doing every time he would go pick something up and tell him to let me know he was thinking about me. “I've experienced New Holland Dominos Pizza in 2 different ways. When I order it for delivery off the app, I rate this location at 6 stars. I'm talking "off the charts".Today I ordered off the app for car-side delivery. For this I rate them at 2 stars max. The app worked fine. The pizza was amazing. The service was extremely disappointing. I texted them (like I was instructed to) when I arrived. We waited for 5 minutes. Finally I I got out of the car and stuck my head in the door, and asked "How much longer?" The kids looked at me like I was crazy, and asked me "How much longer for what?"They blank stared at me, and then at each other. I explained that I had ordered on the app for car-side. They asked for my name, Yada-Yada. After that they walked over to where they keep the ready pizzas, picked up my pizzas, and brought them to me.I asked them if they didn't notice the text announcing our arrival. They said, "WE WERE BUSY MAKING PIZZAS" with an attitude!I'm done!“

For starters...
There was no hard menu visible. Ordering was done from takeout menus, placed at the register.

The Pizza: was exactly as I remembered from over 30 years ago, slightly greasy, crispy, pillowy, balanced. Reasonably priced.

Mozzarella sticks: generic, nothing dynamic, Italian seasoned Mozzarella sticks. Overpriced for the amount received.

We arrived during the lunch buffet time frame to find it not in service... no matter, we were there for pizza, not salad, no fountain soda, drinks were from the take out soda fridge.“

“My parents moved from the suburbs of Phila to Mechanicsburg, and my dad hasn't been able to find a restaurant that even sells chicken cacciatore near him. Today they came to Lancaster to visit, & luckily I knew Capricio's did make his favorite meal. The Joy on his face when he saw the item on the menu, was only matched by clearly how delicious the dish was. He finished every bite. My mom loved her chicken fingers and I loved my chicken fajita Stromboli. The crust was crispy, and not too thick.
I'm positive we will be visiting Capricio's every time my parents come to visit me, now. ? 10/10.“

“Came to the area for a weekend getaway. Ran into this place with the family. Staff and food were great!! The backyard tables are where to eat!!

“My best friend and I go here for our cheat day at least once a month for the past 8 years or whenever the kids pick it for lunch. That alone speaks volumes. But if you need more. The workers remember us and our Pizza request. The food is always fresh hot and good. There is a small game room for kids and TVs showing kind friendly programs. Somedays there is a small wait but it is never more than 3 minutes. Having only one register will do that during peak hours.
Overall, go eat here it is all you can eat. I Personally can only eat about six pleats including a salad and dessert.

I have tried ALOT of pizza in my life n I do reviews. I was really impressed on how good this was a true NY style pizza. Thin crust, well cooked undercarriage, good amount of tasty sauce with just enough cheese with zero grease. Highly recommend it here n just wished it was closer. “Screpesi’s is a local treasure hidden on the corner of County -roads-less-traveled! I had been driving by this attractive building for 8 years before making a planned stop. The sign is too small to read easily as you drive by..even at the 25 mph speed limit. This told me that whatever was inside must be worth a visit and likely the small sandwich shop was frequented primarily by locals!
I was not disappointed! I was greeted with a smile and asked “hard or soft” reminding me of being asked “wtt or wit-out” in Phili. Anyway, meats are fresh, service is great and if you were to ask me, the hard crust is better!
Wife and I will continue to frequent Screpesi’s and explore their extensive menu.

“I am originally from Philly and finding a cheesesteak in Lancaster County has been impossible! I have come to the realization that adding pizza sauce to a cheesesteak is the norm. Adding pizza sauce makes it a Pizza cheesesteak and I am often looked at as crazy when I ask for Ketchup instead of Pizza sauce. I have to say that this Pizza place has hands down the best damn cheesesteaks in Lancaster County. The rolls are not homemade from Pizza dough and are actually soft and delicious. My only complaint would be they are a little light on the meat but that's not going to stop me from visiting again. The older lady at the counter was personable. She greeted everyone with a smile as they walked in the door and her service was spot on! If she was having a rough evening, it didn't show. If you are looking for a REAL cheesesteak, this is the place. Just tell them to hold off on the Pizza sauce!“
