“It's wonderful when a place, like Dharma Bums Restaurant Bar, gets all the elements right – friendly, personable service, creative delicious vegan food - ginger dressing on salad was delish, total yum fig tacos & Thai street fries were so tasty we finished the large bowl of them. Plus, we lucked out being there on Open Mike Night (Wednesdays). We enjoyed listening to entertaining local talent which added to a memorable evening.”

“Starter was the Kachori Chat - an interesting mango pastry assembly. Mains: The Old Delhi Butter Chicken was phenomenal. We also had the Malai Kofta (medium spice ) which was a little spicier than expected but still delicious. I had the Bullet Naan - slightly spicy and very tasty. Mylady’s garlic naan was „delicious“. Service was swift and attentive. Bring your own beer from Triumph Brewery across the road. Will come again.”

They offer plenty of seating however outdoor seating is limited. They offer a good selection of flavors, I decided to try to mad crack which was pretty good. “Coffee bar located inside the Ferry Market in downtown New Hope. I found the coffee good, and they have a small selection of muffins, croissants, cookies, biscotti, and some premade breakfast sandwiches. They also sell the whole coffee beans and tea.

There is some indoor and outdoor seating. I had no issue bringing my dog in with me to order and then sitting outside. I came back several times during my stay in the area.”

“I went to New Hope and stopped at Starbucks to get a drink. The place is really nice and has an extremely comfy room in the back. It is big enough for 2-3 families along with the front having about 4 seats.

The service was nice and the drinks were made properly.

“I tried the pão de queijo and the coxinha and it was so good! The food was fresh and very tasty. Also the shrimp stew / moqueca was great! Piping hot and fresh. I had the moqueca with seasoned rice and salad. Really hope this place sticks around. As a Brazilian I thought their food was great.”

“This place is great! We were staying at the new hope inn and suites and this restaurant is attached to the hotel. They are much more open in the summer with outdoor seating and a beautiful atmosphere. We had drinks at the bar and ordered food right there. They are open till 12am. The service was excellent. The bartender was friendly and Dietra was so cool she brought us our food fresh and hot and was a pleasure to talk to. We will definitely come back in the summer.”

We drove into New Hope for dinner and chose the Havana New Hope because we heard it was a great restaurant. Well...the food was terrific...and the service by your wonderful and beautiful server, Harley, made our visit one to remember.
