“I am from Maryland. Having two kids going to college in Pittsburgh, I was introduced to Oakmont Bakery. Everything I’ve ever had has been amazing. There is a specific bagel that I am overwhelmingly obsessed with. I won’t even share which one because I want there to be bagels in stock when I go up there! Now that my daughter has a car at college, I won’t be there as often. Yesterday after college drop off, I got there in time to find 5 of my bagels left. I know I can order them for pickup (done it a few times). Nobody near me has bagels like this. Thanks for my obsession“

When it was time to plan our 30th-anniversary celebration and we needed an active station, Bella Christie was our top choice! The cotton candy machine was a huge hit, equipped with glow wands! “Gobs, Gobs, Gobs! We visited to sample all flavors of gobs and the burnt almond torte they are known for. The bakery did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious. The only problem is now finding a place in Chicago (my home) that can fill my gob cravings!“

But the owner decided they weren’t busy enough that evening so they called me an hour before and canceled on me. I scrambled to find somewhere for my 10-year-old daughter and I to go After her school dance. I called this place and they said “don’t worry about anything, come on in and we’ll take care of you.” We ended up chatting with some other customers and the staff. It was great. My daughter was all smiles the whole time. The dining room is super small and very intimate. Everybody’s friendly, the owner was great, and the chef was awesome. definitely put this place on your list of places to try. Support local!“

“We had a lunch delivered to our office from here. Everyone here loved the food! We had great sandwhich options and two pizzas and big harvest salads! the salad was so delicious i had two servings! “We order out regularly here bc they are consistent! Food is always fresh and good (shrimp and peppers delicious and crab Rangoon the best around town). Once I couldn’t get out of car and owner brought order out to me. Prices very reasonable too“
