“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

The chicken piccata was amazing—so tender and flavorful. The pasta and meatballs were also a huge hit with our guests. Everything was prepared beautifully and arrived fresh and hot, making hosting so much easier. La Vita’s truly helped elevate the whole event with their delicious food. Highly recommend them for any catered occasion, or dining in —you won’t be disappointed!“

“I have been going there for 30 plus years & most recently today for lunch. The food was a bit above average & the service in the bar area with Zackie was much less than to be expected for a restaurant of this caliber. Not sure if she hasn't been trained properly or just not cut out to be a server. As anyone that is a "Foodie" would know, great service can compensate for many short comings. “Found this old neighborhood restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Small restaurant with friendly staff. We both got house salads and shared a pizza. The salad was ok. Some of the lettuce had brown portions that a customer shouldn't see. The pizza wasn't bad but lacked flavor. The crust almost seemed like a mundane frozen crust. The part we disliked the most was how the servers took up a table and would sit there at the table plus eating instead of tending to the tables. Sorry, but if there are dirty plates stacked at the edge of the table, the server shouldn't walk by and go sit down. If we were the owners, we would not want that.“

“The Village in Mount Pleasant has been our favorite restaurant for at least 25 years. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a LOCAL establishment, and the service confirms that feeling. We are vegetarian and never have an issue finding meat-free meals, and if we're not doing their wonderful pizzas, we go for the gnocchi or pasta dishes with marinara. YUM!! Drink and food prices are very reasonable, and the staff is mostly local family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“We just had my daughter’s wedding shower here and everything was absolutely perfect from the room and table set up, the food, the mimosa bar and the friendly staff. The guests had a choice of stuffed ricotta shells with meatballs or chicken parmesan and both dishes were delicious! Claps to the chef. They also offer gluten free, vegan and child meals. The venue is reasonably priced, spacious, clean and in a convenient location with plenty of parking. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their hard work and assistance in making my daughter’s wedding shower a very special and elegant event.“

“Biscotti Brothers make delicious biscotti. I thought I would be able to go straight to the bakery to buy various flavors of multiple biscotti. It's impossible to find all the various flavors they make at different grocery stores. My new favorite is pumpkin pecan biscottini. However, I discovered the bakery in Greensburg, does not sell to the general public unless you order them online and have them shipped. Which can get alittle expensive. Delallo's in Jeanette sells Biscotti Brothers products under the Delallo brand name, however, they have only a fraction of the flavors available.“

Maybe a touch crust-heavy, but the crust is tasty too so it isn't a huge deal. The Bavarian Pretzel was also really solid as an appetizer.“

“We got a large spinach and feta pizza and a large 5 cheese pizza. Both pizzas were good. I liked the spinach and feta better, it had more flavor. I feel like I could only taste 2-3 of the cheese on the 5 cheese. The crust was a bit flimsy but they have the option to cook longer if you prefer so next time I'll likely do that. Delivery was a power good price.“
