“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

“Absolutely the best dining experience we have had, the staff were friendly and very professional. The atmosphere was perfect for our Anniversary dinner, very personal and private seating. The food was just perfect I can not even describe how wonderfully it was prepared. We were also given a free dessert for our anniversary before we left, which was delectable. The price was worth every single penny, (I have paid more for far less.) The portions were just enormous, cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will go back as often as we can find occasions to go.

“We had seafood tango in Washington tonight for our anniversary and not only was the food great but I really wanted to leave a review for our waitress Linda. She was the sweetest woman & we didn’t have to ask her for a thing. She was quick and we had a great conversation with her! I wish I would have gotten her name to keep in touch on socials because that’s how great she was! Our food came out so quick, she served our 18m old son his food first and foremost and everything was great! 10/10!!“

“This is the second time I came here to eat, and the food was exceptional both times! This is a really good place for some good Chinese dishes! I had Moo goo gai pan, egg roll and ragoons ! All eggrolls are not the same, but these are delicious“

“We come out to eat here more than any of our local restaurants. Twice this week we have been there. My husband ordered the pot roast omelette, both times he had asked for no green peppers and was told no problem but yet still had them all through it. When we told our waitress it just seemed not to be a big deal of hers. This evening alone my silverware was greasy, we ended up having to ask the shift supervisor for a drink refill and she ended up getting our box and check for us, my son's plate had something hard cooked in the scrambled eggs as well. This evening we came in a little after 7. There were still a few tables and someone came in after us. Towards the end it seemed like everyone sat in the back and didn't care about anything. I understand it's almost closing time but still. I was so annoyed with our visit this time. There's no consistency in service sometimes.“

“This was the first LJS that I've seen since relocating to PA and as soon as I saw it, I had to have some. I got the 2 fish 1 chicken 3 shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw. I had about a 15 min drive home, and was impressed on how hot it still was. The waffle fries were a nice surprise and I still think that LJS coleslaw is the best I've ever had!“
