“So grateful for this cute little cafe in Newport. The coffees, teas and treats are fantastic. The atmosphere is quaint and they even sell cute little arts and crafts in the store, signed books, etc. The only downfall is that I WISH they sold sandwiches and soups. Still, 5 stars for everything else. Convenient for me as its right across from the laundromat so, until I can get a wash/dryer I can pop over here in between my wash/dry to enjoy a prettier view and sip some coffee as I wait.“

“I'm not sure what the atmosphere was like. We went through the drive thru. Very nice people, fast service. The only complaint I have is there were no napkins in the bag. Also, I didn't get to eat anything until I got home. Everything was cold by then. I warmed up my double cheeseburger and ate that. My ff got left in my toaster oven too long so I threw them out. Not one of my best experiences. Not their fault though.“

“I was so excited to finally try this small coffee roasting business. The fact that they are local and have very high ratings and amazing word of mouth recommendations, my order was definitely overdue.We were forced to search for a healthier, cost effective, and fresher roast. All I can say, is stop throwing your money at these big name coffee companies when all you are getting sent is garbage and slow service.This is not the case with Shermans Valley Coffee. Now, we live relatively close but since I don't drive I opted for the shipping. I ordered Bruce's Espresso Blend on May 31, 2023, this was the day the whole beans were roasted and shipped. We got our order the very next day and it smelled amazing. I couldn't wait to get our first batch brewed.The beans were the freshest that I have ever used and that will keep me ordering more! Not to mention that it brews and tastes amazing!I love that the beans were whole and there were no broken pieces strewn throughout like other companies AND the beans are nice and dry, not oily and very strong. We do pour over and this is the best cup of coffee I have had in years. There literally is NO aftertaste and that is amazing in itself. Also, I don't have to doctor my coffee as much as I had to with the previous brand. There is no bitterness here, so smooth and tasty.I have found my favorite coffee roaster from here on out and have already recommended them to others. “Would give more stars if it didn't take so long to get my food. They said they were short handed...at least they brought out my bagel and coffee but still waiting after 30 mins for my meal. Atmosphere and coffee are great. Just got my long awaited eggs and bacon...just so-so, needs improvement on their eggs and bacon. Will likely stop again for bagels and coffee at least.“
