“I’ve been a long time customer of this place prior to 2020. Any chance I was willing to drive 40 mins just for a smoothie I would. As a strict organic gluten free sugar free soy free vegan with many food allergies going out is often a chore. I loved this place. But I have noticed a change in decor it seems more cold and the pre bottled juices seem to be diluted or sat for way too long and separated. When Kelly was the owner it seemed warmer in the store. Altho the smoothies and smoothie bowls still seem to be the same quality. Just a bit sad about the bottled juice. But I’m glad this place still exists and support this business as much as I can. It’s the only place I can go and feel “normal” when I order. Also they seemed to change the bowl container to some sort of plastic. I much rather the papery ones more eco friendly which matters to me. But I definitely still recommend this place to everyone.

I just want to say since new owner ship they never pick up their phone when they are supposed to be open. It’s a far drive and I want to make sure they are open. This has happened multiple times. Just checking hours since the seasons have changed. But apparently no one answers.“

“Shame on you Iron Hill Newtown for cheaping out at your Girl Scout cookie pairing event. Last year 8 cookies/ beers were offered plus 1 extra for King of the Hill members. Now it’s 4 per flight no KOTH bonus. Plus to find out that the flights are not fresh poured but from growlers for the event was as true disappointment. We do not recommend the Brewers Breakfast. We have been loyal Iron Hill patrons for over 15 years at multiple locations.“

“Stopped in for dinner last night. I'm not the greatest with trying new food. This was my first time trying Indian food. Had the garlic shrimp, shrimp tikka masala, garlic naan, and a future fashioned. Both were excellent! Nothing was left over by the time I was done. Great atmosphere and service. No photos, was too hungry. Will definitely dine here again.“

“My wife and I went here for our 17th Anniversary. Got there a little early so went to bar 1st. Drinks were awesome and the selection of bourbon was great. Our table was ready before we even got our drinks, but were allowed to sit and relax. We soaked up a little bar atmosphere before going to the dinning room which overlooked the river. The staff was great and accommodating. One of the owners even stopped by to talk to us for a bit. The food was perfect and well priced. All in all a great bar/inn/ restaurant that's easy to get to and has a history. Will definitely go here again.“

She asked for extra sprinkles ( where did I go wrong, they are JIMMIES!!!) They even stuffed somein the cone for her. They take cash or cards, which is helpful. A few places to sit outside if you want to hang back and enjoy your cool great.“

He didn't answer and they called for me again because I cannot dial the number because the phones are far behind the counter. “Tina helped coordinate a small party in the Nook space for a 40th birthday party this weekend. She was so responsive and easy to work with. The space was just right for our group of 14 people. It’s a great spot in the corner of the taproom that feels private and comfortable. The bartenders were incredible- so friendly, helpful, and fun! I liked the flexibility of being able to bring in our own snacks and cake, and also have the food truck as an option. We have been NCBC fans for a long time but this is our first time having an event in the taproom and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks NCBC!!!“
