This place was outstanding.

There's a ton of choices, literally 19 flavors of bagels. I had the jalapeño with pork roll and egg. Very delicious. The staff was awesome, from the lady on the counter (blond, younger) to the cook (who dispatched my food), everyone was courteous and quick.

The price was great, $7 for the sandwich and a coffee.

The coffee was excellent, they had at least seven different huge decanters ready. They had syrups available to freely add, and at least four different creamers all there on the counter to use.

They have chips if you want some, and everything was tasty. I ordered five bagels to go, including strawberry, super cinammon and honey oat. All were fresh and good. The size is fine and the price is good ($1.5 for a bagel?).

I recommend this place wholeheartedly, and I am happy to discuss further should anyone want more details. The parking was easy and spacious and the place was clean, looked and smell great. Great work everyone, especially the young lady behind the counter. Suggestion - owner should provide name tags so we can call out good service; the lady said she was gluten allergic (that's all I can point out to say who she was). Best wishes, many blessings.“

“If you haven’t already been to Turtle Beans, I would highly recommend stopping in! The “ Specialty Coffee Roasters “ truly speaks for itself as the coffee and the service / atmosphere here is special in itself. This past weekend, on Saturday my church had an event where they had Turtle Beans come out to be a barista for the event itself. I ended up getting the caramel iced latte and it truly was the best iced latte I have personally had. It was so good that it drove me to go immediately after Sunday service to their shop right on Farnsworth Ave in Bordentown to get the same coffee! They have so many hand crafted coffee options to choose from cold or hot, as well as hand crafted seasonals to try and choose from! They import and roast their own specialty coffee beans from multiple coffee producing countries around the world making every sip a truly unique experience! They also have different varieties of teas and pastries sourced from local bakeries! Steven and Linda are so very welcoming and genuinely amazing people, they have made the atmosphere for their shop as welcoming as they are. Keep making amazing coffee and specialty’s Turtle Beans, you are both rocking it! I have been to Harvest Seasonal Grill in Newtown at least half a dozen times, and it is consistently one of my favorite spots in Bucks County. Whether it’s for brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, it never disappoints.
The Food & Menu
Their farm-to-table approach really shines through in the freshness of the dishes. I love that they offer a great selection of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options—it makes it so easy to dine with a group.
• Must-Try: The Cuban Black Bean Bowl is one of my go-tos (the chicken add-on is great, but it’s a fantastic plant-based option on its own).
• Seasonal Favorites: Keep an eye out for their Butternut Squash Soup in the cooler months—it’s delicious.
• Drinks: Their sangria is a must-have in the spring and summer; they always have such creative and refreshing seasonal flavors.
The Service & Atmosphere
The staff here is incredibly nice and attentive. They truly care about their guests—they even called me once when someone in my party accidentally left their boxed leftovers behind! Located in the Village at Newtown, parking is generally easy to find in the surrounding lots, which is a nice break compared to some of the busier city locations.

“I came across Palo de Azucar while I was in Trenton on business. I was looking for a spot where they sold not only quality coffee, but tasty brunch as well. If you're interested or already enjoy Spanish food, this is the place! The quality of coffee did not disappoint, but what stood out most of all was the food. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk and a California burger, simply delicious (ask for it cooked at a lower temperature if you like medium!) My mother ordered from the International Treats, and this is by far what took the spotlight for us. We had the Beef Colombian Empanadas and were beyond impressed, from the freshness of the food all the way to each and every flavor of the well-seasoned beef. The empanadas are crunchy/crispy on the outside, and every ingredient on the inside is hot flavorful. The Alcapurrias were a show stopper as well, the outside being fried Yucca and the inside beef. The service was quick, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the prices were comfortable and fair. I was surprised it didn’t have raisins. Lol. The pimento dip is amazing. It tastes like buffalo dip, without chicken - I eat for a few days with sliced cucumbers and carrots.
