My absolute favorite was the Mango Water Ice it was incredibly refreshing, packed with real mango flavor, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The texture was smooth, light, and perfect for a hot day. It’s definitely one of the best mango water ice treats I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try more flavors, but the Mango Water Ice will always be my first choice.

“Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant is huge, has a nice atmosphere, and they change their menu every season, which keeps things interesting. The food was good, but almost every dish could have used a little more salt to really bring out the flavors.

The only real disappointment was the drinks. One of them tasted overwhelmingly strong, almost like bleach, and we couldn’t even finish it because it was so overpowering.

Other than that, I think it’s definitely worth trying at least once. With a few small improvements to the seasoning and cocktails, it could be an even better experience.“

“I came across Palo de Azucar while I was in Trenton on business. I was looking for a spot where they sold not only quality coffee, but tasty brunch as well. If you're interested or already enjoy Spanish food, this is the place! The quality of coffee did not disappoint, but what stood out most of all was the food. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk and a California burger, simply delicious (ask for it cooked at a lower temperature if you like medium!) My mother ordered from the International Treats, and this is by far what took the spotlight for us. We had the Beef Colombian Empanadas and were beyond impressed, from the freshness of the food all the way to each and every flavor of the well-seasoned beef. The empanadas are crunchy/crispy on the outside, and every ingredient on the inside is hot flavorful. The Alcapurrias were a show stopper as well, the outside being fried Yucca and the inside beef. The service was quick, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the prices were comfortable and fair. My son and I have already eaten from here four times. He is obsessed with the chicken sandwich. The only problem for me is the potato salad, which is sweet - something I’ve never encountered in my life and was a little bit of a shock to me. Not sure if this company is from the south and that’s how they make it in the south. Potato salad is supposed to be savory like egg salad, but with potatoes- not sweet. I was surprised it didn’t have raisins. Lol. The pimento dip is amazing. It tastes like buffalo dip, without chicken - I eat for a few days with sliced cucumbers and carrots. It’s also good on ritz or club crackers. 4.5 of 5 stars ✨“
