“This is such a fun ice cream stop on our way up to camp! They have tons of amazing flavors and types of ice cream, flurries, shakes, sundaes, smoothies, and more! They also have some savory stuff like burgers, tots, pretzel bites, etc. Everything is absolutely delicious and is very big and very generous for the price. I highly recommend!
Kid-friendliness: Lots of fun flavors and options!”

“I've dined at Deb's Place a millions times or so.
If you're after gourmet, keep on trucking but it's good, hearty, honest food at decent prices. The place can be a ghost town or packed to the gills depending on when you're there and what's going on. Service has always been reasonable to very good. There is a dining room and the bar area, which has tables also. Very different environments under the same roof.
Kitchen is usually open late which can be a big plus when you're coming in tired and hungry. Great asset for the small town of Cross Fork, PA!”
“Our family has been coming to the store and bar for 50 years or more starting when Jeff’s dad ran it. It continues to be a camp tradition to go there for ice cream every trip. The Kinneys are very good people and have always treated us well. The subs are terrific and the cheese and leek paste taste like Potter County. It makes a great lunch while the kids fish at the bridge.”
“One of the best restaurants in town. Always aim to please. Never had anything that wasn’t’ delicious.”
“For me this is the best central and economic location to eat, rent a room, or have a few beverages after spending the day venturing out to the various trout streams in the area. Absolutely beautiful way to spend a week or so.”
“Nice, quiet, clean, no smoking club. Staff and patrons friendly and will talk wether they know you or not. Crazy on Penn State game day!!”
“Ordered a couple different items. Buffalo Chicken Pizza was really good. Our wait for food was well over an hour. In which I thought was way too long.”

“I was there yesterday with my bfs mom and step dad. It was the only thing open on mother's day for dinner, and I'm glad we stopped there. I liked the buffalo chicken wrap I had. The homemade chips were great. I don't really eat them n I'm craving them now haha. The bartender was great and bubbly.”
“We had the special last night, battered haddock. It was very good. A nice big piece of fish and had some Mac n cheese with it. Also came with soup and salad bar. We definitely recommend the fish.”

“Needed a quick bite on our way through town on motorcycles, On recommendation of a local gentleman we stopped at Socky's and had a simple hearty breakfast. No fuss, just good home made food, nice servers, friendly, and chatty patrons curious to know about us, just as we were of them . Thank you!”

“I will recommend for the food, the atmosphere was good but the set up was odd to me. You order your food at the bar and it comes to your table. You order your drinks at the bar and take them to your table yourself. If you want water you get it yourself at a water station. There is no waitstaff per se other than someone who brings your food to the table. If you are done with dinner and want dessert, you go up the the bar and order it. I was expecting a dining area separate from the bar but it’s all one big open space. We went for the Valentine’s Day special which was also karaoke night so it was very loud. Overall I’d go back for the food now that I know what to expect, but it wasn’t a quiet dining experience.”
