“Decent bar food. Had the pickles and honey mustard boneless wings. Definitely a skeleton crew. Was nice for a dive bar and drinks. Be patient and just enjoy the relaxed country atmosphere.”
“love to visit hometown restaurants when we travel...came across this gem! food was awesome..service was great too. such a friendly place...give this place a 5++ stars!”
“Despite there being limited choices the Keystone was awesome and friendly bartenders that love conversation. The rooms are very clean and they serve diner style food which was great. Will definitely stay there every trip to Renovo!!”
“I had a flat tire and I came in to seek info and Lisa, The manager was extraordinary calling around to help me find a place that was open to fix my flat since it was a holiday weekend. And the cookies were amazing!”
“This place is a dive. But the whole town is delapidated, abandoned, and very sad. When you look at it in that context, this place is a gem. The food is good and dirt cheap. Yeah sometimes you have to wait for the service and yeah sometimes they don't get it right. But what can you expect? They really try to work hard and get the best food out there for the people that go there which are not rich people by any means! So they are there to serve their clientele which are mostly poor and older and they do a damn good job at it. Most of the time they are understaffed but if they were better staffed they would never be able to deliver the food that they deliver at the price they deliver it which is truly amazing how they can! Miss Kathy makes awesome desserts. Check out her pies and her upside down Pineapple cake. If you complain about this place, something is seriously wrong with you. You are a spoiled brat!”
“We had the special last night, battered haddock. It was very good. A nice big piece of fish and had some Mac n cheese with it. Also came with soup and salad bar. We definitely recommend the fish.”
“I will recommend for the food, the atmosphere was good but the set up was odd to me. You order your food at the bar and it comes to your table. You order your drinks at the bar and take them to your table yourself. If you want water you get it yourself at a water station. There is no waitstaff per se other than someone who brings your food to the table. If you are done with dinner and want dessert, you go up the the bar and order it. I was expecting a dining area separate from the bar but it’s all one big open space. We went for the Valentine’s Day special which was also karaoke night so it was very loud. Overall I’d go back for the food now that I know what to expect, but it wasn’t a quiet dining experience.”
“Good soft serve ice cream for a place out by itself. But they need a nice sign by the road so you know it's there. Not sure why they don't have one. But watch for it near the West branch of the Susquehanna near Hyner.”
