“Ate at this diner for the first time today and cannot say enough about the hospitality, and quality of the food. The family who run it clearly take a great deal of pride in what they serve. A unique local eatery you should definitely try when in the area.“

“I visited Michael’s for the first time recently and I was pleased! My girlfriend and I ordered a pepperoni and cheese calzone and a white pizza. A few thoughts: The pepperoni and cheese calzone— it could have been baked a little bit more, but not much more. The cheese was really good. The pepperoni was flavorful. The pizza sauce in the calzone— it is a sweeter pizza sauce. My ideal pizza sauce is a little less sweet and more spicy, but I only mention this because I still liked their pizza sauce. Perhaps their sauce is comparable to that of a Sbarro’s in terms of sweetness, but Michael’s pizza sauce is better. The white pizza— I haven’t had a slice of one of these in about a year or two when I lived in Florida. Very tasty! The pizza was perfectly baked to my liking. We added spinach to our white pizza and it turned out good. Our only regret is that we didn’t add onions, mushrooms, minced garlic, or tomatoes. Regardless, our plain white pizza was very satisfying! Relative to the quality of food offered at Michael’s, prices are fairly reasonable. NOTE: their ranch dressing is homemade and is in my all-time top 5 restaurant ranches. My girlfriend and I dipped our pizza “bones” (that is, crusts) into the ranch…the ranch was better than we hoped for. NOTE: my gf and I only heard about Michael’s because we coincidentally ended up meeting the owner. She happened to be pouring for a winery at the Wine Fest and had mentioned to her that my favorite “drinking” food is pizza. That’s when she mentioned this place. I had asked her about the sauce, the ranch, etc. and was sold! And Michael’s exceeded my expectations.“
