I knew this pizza looked like it was the perfect consistency, but I wasn’t sure yet if the taste would measure up. “We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“

“We stopped at Sally after a long drive north to Philadelphia. I had heard about this place many times but never visited. It is delicious pizza and I’m glad we decided to stop!

We got there around 11:30 and the place was completely empty. There were good vibes inside though. I loved the wall of wine bottles and the vintage stereo system behind the brunch bar. Music was great too.

We spilt two pizzas and they were both delicious. One was pepperoni, the other had sausage and some greens. I don’t think you can go wrong with their menu. The non-pizza items looked good but we did not try them.

The service was lackluster considering we were the only people in the place. They mixed up one pizza and offered to remake, but that meant we were eating at completely different times

“We love Slices and Rolls. While we don't keep strictly kosher we will choose kosher if it's available. Slices and Rolls make it an easy choice because it is not only kosher, it is DELICIOUS! There are some kosher places in the area that if one isn't strictly kosher, one knows that they *only* stay in business because people don't have an alternative. This is *not* true of Slices and Rolls. Their pizza is objectively good - certainly the best kosher option by miles and competitive with any standard pizza shop. It's not fancy but it's good.

I can't say the same for their sushi - specifically because I can't eat it. I have an allergy to corn and they use rice vinegar mixed with corn vinegar in the rice which even if you don't have a corn allergy gives you an idea about the commitment to authenticity. My husband who has eaten it is not so excited to eat it again. Because we aren't strictly kosher (but avoid eating where non-kosher animals are prepared if it's reasonably easy) he prefers to get sushi from the Philadelphia Fish and Lobster Company which is delicious and which I can eat because it uses fully rice vinegar.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian but not vegan. Delicious!“

“Eda's New Haven Tomato Pie is it! I'm not a fan of the thick/cold standard we have in the local area, so I was excited to try Eda's style. This thing is huuuuge and full of simple but quality flavor. Great New Haven char. You can taste the individual ingredients in every bite. I had like 4 really nice bubbles on my pie too. Beautiful. I'll be back to try the cheese soon!“
