“Walking into the old post office feels like stepping back in time. The building is beautifully renovated, with charming side rooms that add to the cozy atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious—hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We loved how dog-friendly it was, making it easy to pop in and out with your pup. The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Carnegie!“

“The atmosphere is Queint and relaxing. The hostess was very friendly and Liza our waitress had a warm demeanor and was personable very attentive.
Delicious doesn't even begin to describe the food. We had the bruschetta, French onion soup, side salad, French dip and stuffed hot pepper pasta.
All portions we exactly right (not to big not to small). Each dish tastes home cook and they space our the dishes so you don't feel rushed. I couldn't tell you the last time I enjoyed eating at a restaurant. We will definitely be back again.“

“First time here. Stopped by before work the other day since I heard so many great things and I was not disappointed. This place is awesome. I’m coming here more often for coffee and the flatbreads are amazing. The service was phenomenal. The girl who waited on me, I think her name was Lisa, was very nice, friendly and funny. She helped me decide on what to get and was very enthusiastic. Enjoyed my overall experience. Will definitely come back.“

“Not sure if this is the right place for this review, but I wanted to shout out whoever was working that Starbucks cafe the morning of Black Friday. The line was packed but those baristas got everyone in and out in no time; I barely blinked and my drinks were there. Very friendly and polite as well.“

“We visited during a Steelers game and were welcomed with friendliness and the feel of family. The drinks are generous. The food is readily available. Great place to host a party or family gathering. Cash only. Well, at least you know you're not leaving with an open tab. Great energy!

“We popped in here for a different breakfast choice, and OH MY GOODNESS! The staff is beyond wonderful! They were all so sweet and caring to everyone! You can tell they have a lot on their plates but they handle it with so much grace and ease. Every customer got a different greeting and a different goodbye. It all seemed genuine too! So I would highly recommend visiting if you are in the area!“

“If you like a hometown, locally owned restaurant feel, this is a great place to visit. It has a bit of a Rustic / Grandma's kitchen vibe. Food is excellent! Omelettes are in my opinion stellar, with the proper amount of all ingredients. Bacon is awesome, thin and crispy, just how I like it! Pancakes are also excellent and super tasty. Overeasy eggs are also cooked perfectly. Carry and Barb are 2 of the best breakfast chefs I have had out, period.. As of 2023 I'm 50 years old so have had breakfast a ton of places locally and nationally. I live about 3 miles away from the restaurant location so since I discovered it I try to stop once or twice a week. Definitely one of Pittsburgh's hidden local neighborhood gems. It is one of those small local places where if you know how good it is, you KNOW, and remember....“

“Adesso is a staple. I am from Canada and whenever I visit, I always take morning walks to see Frank and grab a coffee.
He is always kind, warm and welcoming and knows all his customers. Small cozy family ran cafe with outdoor seating. Coffee is great and it radiates good vibes. Can’t recommend enough!!

Unlike the crappy haters at the bridgeville location or getting reprimanded for using a MyPanera + Gift card at the waterfront location, this location is pleasant, and is generally consistent. “This is a good, quiet, clean Panera. I only had an iced tea and sat there and held a business meeting. There were other groups and small meetings going on and the place was quiet enough to hold a conversation and large enough so no one was too close by.“
