“Yum!! What a great option for lunch?! I usually do Panera or Zuppas but, today,I wanted to try something new. They have a ton of bread (duh!), sandwiches and salads. I had the pick two combo... you get half of a sandwich and a cup of soup or small salad for $6.59. That's really affordable for delicious food! The ladies here were super friendly and got my food put together within 2 minutes. There are enough eating for 50 people, about 10 outside and 40 inside. Today, I got the turkey/bacon club and a cup of chicken gumbo. The gumbo was not spicy at all but very flavorable. The club was pretty good - turkey was thinly sliced and toppings were high quality. I, also, got the lemon blueberry pound cake for the team and that was really good (especially when paired with coffee). I'll have to add this joint to my weekly lunch routine!“
“It's a little slow getting food here as it seems they always have too few staff but everything usually tastes good and most of the staff is very friendly. If you order ahead make sure you not in a hurry because there's a change your order won't be ready when you get there. This has happened to me a few times.“
“In the quaint little town of Extraterrestrial Eats, there's a hidden gem that's out of this world: Mars Farmhouse Cafe. As I stepped through the door, I was greeted by Martians in gingham aprons, buzzing around with trays of steaming cosmic casserole. The menu was a cosmic delight, featuring dishes like "Galactic Goulash" and "Saturn's Rings Salad." I ordered the "Plutonian Pancakes," which arrived stacked high, topped with a mysterious glowing syrup that defied gravity. As I took a bite, I was teleported to a distant galaxy where the cows jumped over moons, and the chickens laid asteroid eggs. The atmosphere was buzzing with intergalactic chatter, and I swear I saw a couple of aliens sharing a milkshake with two straws. Mars Farmhouse Cafe, you've taken farm-to-table to a whole new dimension, leaving this earthling starry-eyed and hungry for more celestial cuisine.“
“A hidden gem in Morningside!! The owner is a really sweet woman who puts her whole heart into the delicious food and drinks that she makes. Ka-fair is a full service coffee shop with tasty lattes, matcha, smoothies, pastries and breakfast foods. Try the egg toast and the seasonal strawberry matcha when you’re here!“
“Always clean and the staff is exceptionally friendly! I come here to work often- Michael and Trevor have always gone out of their way to ensure I have everything I need. I can always count on them to brighten my day and share a smile. Anything I order is always delicious! Thanks to all of you for making my visits such an enjoyable part of my week! Highly recommend!“
“Redhawk in Sharpsburg is hands down, my favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh. I have been to many others in the city, and I have not found any other place with such consistently good espresso and friendly staff. The staff go above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed every time we visit. They gladly fill my reusable cup with any drink I order, sell us glass jars of milk to take home, and they even have some toys and books for kids to occupy themselves for a bit. While food options are limited, they often have pop ups on weekends. The space can get busy, but if you do get a seat, it is a nice place to relax and people watch over some coffee.“
“Very solid spot for a snack or some coffee and a treat. Solid prices and a nice atmosphere. They have most of the classic coffee shop creations. I tried their hot cocoa, brownie, and chocolate chip cookie.Their desserts seem to be made in house. The brownie varieties vary from day to day, and this time, it was just a chocolate frosted one with sprinkles. The brownie had tons of pieces of chocolate in it, and the frosting was tasty as well. A tad dry, but still good. The chocolate chip cookie was only $1! What an amazing price and deal. It was very tasty as well, also having big chunks of chocolate in it. I’d definitely recommend. The hot cocoa was quite milky and honestly didn’t have much flavor. I was hoping for a chocolatey flavor, but it wasn’t there. Still, solid, and I’m sure the coffee is probably their specialty and likely better. All in all, I definitely enjoyed this place. Reasonable prices, solid portions, and a nice assortment of in house desserts. I’d return!Vegetarian options: Flatbreads, salads, desserts, etcKid-friendliness: Lots of desserts that could be used in a birthday celebration“
“I love the location of this quaint coffee shop! It was a nice warm day when I was there, so I took a walk through the neighborhood while I sipped on my drink! Plenty of parking is available as well! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in the area ?“
“This cute little coffee shop is awesome. It didn’t show up when I was searching for local coffee shops on google but I stumbled on it anyways. I had a pumpkin latte which was delicious and served quickly. The store is clean and has a very unique design.“
“Best specialty coffee in the area. They have new varieties all the time, and I'm never disappointed with the quality -- perfect EVERY time. Great vibes, great service, great coffee. Now that I've found it, it's definitely my go-to place. I can't imagine going anywhere else.“
“What a gem of a place. I always stop when I can and I love to grab a loaf of bread. Their selection is excellent. It’s one of my favorite places. I recommend dining in or grabbing a few things to go.Kid-friendliness: I always see families when I am in here. It’s a nice neighborhood place.“
“Wife and I used to go to the restaurants in the columbus circle flagship store when we lived in NYC. We loved eating there. We came to Nordstrom here at Ross Park and noticed they had a cafe. We immediately decided to have dinner here, and it was a great experience.Great staff, great food. Hidden gem.“
“I always love a small local coffee shop and this has become a new favorite close to home. I've stopped in several times the past few weeks for a coffee and a pastry while I work, and everything is delicious and prepared with care (tip: get your cinnamon roll heated!). It gets pretty full and a bit noisy in the mornings -- so you may want headphones if you need to focus -- but this is mostly because so many customers seem to meet up there regularly for lively, joyful conversations. I usually stay and enjoy the buzz around me until I see people lingering without a place to sit. I can't wait to enjoy my AM caffeine on the porch once the weather gets a little warmer.Kid-friendliness: They have a Lego table and chalkboard for little ones.“
“Food was excellent...as was the service!Don't be put off by the outside of this little row house turned restaurant; inside is warm and inviting. Even though we were in a small room, with most tables filled, it didn't feel cramped and we could actually converse without shouting. Not inexpensive but worthwhile!“
“My daughter and I had the pleasure of dropping by Bloom Café in Mars recently, and let me tell you, it's as charming as they come. Not only does this quaint café serve up some seriously delicious food, but it's also a treasure trove for anyone who loves to cook or dabble in culinary experiments, thanks to their selection of jams, jellies, and all sorts of intriguing items.Ordering is a breeze - you do it at the desk, grab a number, and then choose your spot. They've got a cozy little dining area, but the real gem is the seating in their nursery. Yes, you read that right. You can enjoy your meal surrounded by plants, which adds a whole new level of enjoyment to dining out.We were there for breakfast, and the options were plentiful and impressive. From coffees and teas to a variety of breakfast and lunch foods, there's something for everyone. The food? Absolutely amazing. It's not every day you find a spot that nails both the atmosphere and the menu, but Bloom Café has done just that. It's a cool, little place that's definitely worth a visit.“
“Delicious coffee and quick service. I had the Cafe Mocha and my wife had Chai tea. The mocha was expertly balanced between rock coffee, chocolate, and milk. My wife says it was the best chai tea she ever had, and I'm inclined to agree!“
“First off I didn't want to go here but my niece said it was good. Then there was a bit of a wait because I guess other people also think it is good. Well then we ate and I gotta tell yah, it was damn good! Highly recommend the wait.“
“I stopped in late evening , to get some soup for my family . I was quite surprised by the homemade soup selection they had , especially being the end of the day. It looked like they were starting to clean up , but the girl behind the counter took my order right away , she was very attentive and told me I get free rolls with my quart of soup! I apologized to her for coming in late and she was very friendly , asking me if I needed anything else like sandwiches , pastries , salad and bread . Great customer service and great food. I hope to be back to eat in for lunch one of these days!“
“Love First Watch, especially having it in this part of town! It's a great little place with hearty food, delicious options for everyone, tasty juices, bottomless coffee, and a cozy hometown atmosphere. Waits can be quite long, so try doing an online reservation or check in to help expedite your wait time! Can't really say that I have had a poor experience dining here at all!“
“the idea is really good, but the product itself is a little bit underwhelming. we tried a wagon wheele and a monongahela, both were bland. i wish there was more flavor, spice and filling, the dough could have more texture. but i really appreciate the effort and the concept we definitely going back and try again.“
“The food is really good!!! We arrived on a meatball Monday and the beefy meatballs were rich moist and tender. The tomato sauce they served with-savory, neither too sweet or too salty, but rather just a perfect consistency and not overcooked...it had freshness to it. I wasn't even starving or anything. Just incredible awareness of what makes an excellent meatball and marinara sauce. The service was wonderful, friendly, attentive. They were so many items on the menu. The fries were served skin on and what I would call thin cut. The earthy flavors of the potato was preserved and the frying oil was very fresh resulting in a fry that rewarded you with that lingering crisp potatoe skin finish with no greasiness. These people clearly have a reputation to uphold. We had dessert, which I normally don't but again- someone in that kitchen cares alot about flavor and has a discriminate palette. Pecan Cream Pie. Didn't know what to think. It looked fluffy when it arrived, some kind of cream, pecan chunk mash-perhaps suspended together with agar or a gelatin.....I really liked it. Pies of this type can ofteb be cloying or overly sweet. Really superb way to finish off a meal. So impressive, the flavors were so good and I absolutely was not expecting this at all. Definitely stop and eat at this place.Parking: Real easy to pull on in.“
“The breakfast menu is so, so good! The avocado toast was uniquely prepared and absolutely delicious. Potatoes were seasoned well and crispy. My son had the hot soppressata sandwich and said it was the best breakfast sandwich he’s had. Breakfast burrito - 2 thumbs up! Can’t wait to try some of the other menu items.“
“I stop here about 4 times a year; always first thing in the morning. So many times, they don't seem to be prepared for business at 730am which is a peak time for most coffee places. But I manage to have to wait for cappuccino when I'm one of the only customers. Having said that; the coffee is okay; service is friendly but not efficient.“
“Had to "waste time" between appointments, so I stopped in for lunch. WOW! I had soup and a half sandwich and was impressed. The French Onion Soup was good, as was the steak sandwich.. definitely more than I can eat in one sitting! I did not like the Blood Orange Splash though.“
“I can’t rate this place high enough. I loved loved loved it. All organic. It tastes unbelievably good, easily the best coffee I’ve ever had. I ordered the latte with heavy cream. And I chose this place specifically because so many places don’t use heavy cream anymore, and this place does. They were accommodating and so friendly.“
