Burger Restaurants near Old Forge

“Always decently clean for a fast food joint with constant table turnaround. However we do use the window to order many times. Whoever the one gal is she super polite and very personable. Tries hard to make your experience pleasant and efficient. The star/ moon tattoo? Is cute. The Food. Fast food is fast food but this outlet at least tries to make it look like it should when it hits the customer.“

Huge shout‑out to Cassy. She made the entire visit feel special. Super attentive, kind, and on point with everything. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in her work. Cassy is a major reason I’ll be coming back.

Highly recommend this restaurant for great food and even better service.“

“Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We both had the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich. That is a very tasty sandwich and we both enjoyed it very much. The steak fries were perfect. Our server was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. It was a nice time made very enjoyable.
Great food, good service and nice atmosphere.“

“Kayla is very personable and friendly to her customers. Kayla is very conversational to her customers. She checks on all her tables to see if they need anything multiple times while eating at the restaurant. Before I need anything, she is gets my request before I ask what I need. Kim, the manager is very polite and checks to see if the customer enjoyed their time while dinning at the restaurant. Kim makes sure to ask how the food came out to the customers in the restaurant.“

“Such a great experience at Five Guys! Dominique, who helped me, was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, upbeat, and genuinely kind — her positive attitude honestly made my day. She is truly an asset to the company and exactly the type of person who makes you want to come back!

The whole atmosphere was great as well. Everything was clean, the music was good, and the restaurant just had a really welcoming, upbeat feel. Great food and even better service. Thank you, Dominique! 😊“

“tried the new ghost pepper whopper sandwich. got the meal with a medium order of onion rings, with the zesty sauce. you can't do the rings with out the sauce. this burger was awesome, hot, and spicy all at the same time. I loved it!! I received great service while enjoying being able to sit in their dining room. do to issues it was closed for a while. they only had drive thru. my rings were hot and fresh! recommend this whopper.“

Well conceptualized recipes and expert preparation. The Fries! The Weiner Sauce! The specials! Also, bar staff are attentive and personable. Very good service!“

“The food is alway good. I've never had a bad experience.“

“Previously had a bad experience with a takeout order. The restaurant reached out and gave us a coupon to use for our next experience. We sat down in the restaurant today and it completely made up for last time. Anissa was so wonderfully kind and exceptional- she kept track of our dinner so we did not run over our limit, was happy to chat, and made sure our drinks were always full (and an extra lemon was happily given.)
The manager Jason P. made it a point to check in not once but twice to make sure our food and service was up to OUR standards.
This exceptional service is why we keep coming back- everyone is entitled to a bad day, but Jason P. and Anissa made sure we did not leave without full bellies and a smile. Can't wait to see you again!“

“Great meal AND it was FREE ! Thanks for honoring teachers !“

“Plains Burger King is by the best burger king in Wilkes-Barre. From breakfast to lunch the service and the food are very good. The breakfast staff are so friendly and very nice , the breakfast manager is always smiling, making you feel good when you walk in the morning and order your breakfast and she is always so pleasant. Also, their French fries are the best they have a lot of taste, and the salt is just right.“

“hidden gem. the Chef salad was by far the best I've ever had. I know it sounds funny about a salad, but true salad lovers know what I mean. also ordered the Pizza with onion. so good. don't know if they make their own, but it was delicious.“

“Rob from the back window and drive thru is awesome!! I laughed so hard this morning when I picked up my order! He sounds like a tv host and told me congratulations for making it to Friday!! Thanks for the laughter and cheer this morning, I really needed it!! 💕“

“Did drive thru desserts for a group of 5. They did a good job on getting all of the orders in. But I ordered the Royal New York cheesecake treat which advertised as graham crackers and cheesecake bites swirled together in the ice cream and a core of strawberry (in the middle, top to bottom of cup) to scoop as you wished, what I got was the graham crackers and cheesecake with a very small smattering of strawberry on the top. I was quite disappointed in mine, but the others were all fine. Wouldn't order that one again probably because of the experience.“
