“Fantastic place! Super nice server, plus the owner stopped by to go over some choices. We ordered toasted ravioli, rosemary chicken, veal and peppers(all excellent) and the home run of the evening, manicotti made with a crepe. Pricing was moderate/low, for the quality.

“One of our favorite Italian restaurants. The specials are always a must-try, however their homemade manicotti and their chicken Parmesan are two of our favorite picks. Service is always top notch and friendly and the atmosphere is filled with Italian decor and music. It’s really such a great place to have a nice dinner with reasonable pricing and a family atmosphere. Alissa is always smiling and happy to see you.“

“My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time and we were amazed! We started with potato pancakes, calamari, and the mozzarella en Carozza and it was like it was touched by the hand of God it was so delicious! Then I had the pretzel chicken with the mashed potatoes and the green beans! I've been looking for pretzel chicken done this way all over the valley and this is the only place that does it the way I like it with the mustard sauce. My dinner also came with a soup and I chose the Italian wedding and it tasted better than mine! My husband had the Joseph's double stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni added on top and we've had other double stuffed crust white pizzas before and this one is at the top of the list! We're definitely coming back and we will be bringing friends and family! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and our waitress was absolutely fantastic and extremely attentive!“

“AV is my family's favorite restaurant. They have a variety of different options on their menu, from homemade pastas, to fresh seafood, to decadent fresh salads. The ingredients and pairings are absolutely out of this world, and are comparable to a NYC level of presentation and taste.
The service is impeccable. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with warm & smiling faces. The servers are very thorough, extremely welcoming, and make you feel like you belong. They are very knowledgeable about the menus, and are happy to give great suggestions.
To say that AV Restaurant is the best restaurant in Scranton isn't even scratching the surface of just how fabulous of an establishment it truly is. If I could give 10 stars I would. You must give this place a try!!!!“

“My family and I had some friend over Saturday evening and wanted to keep it simple with pizza. Our order was a plain, pepperoni and a grandma. As usual every pie was so fresh and delicious. My favorite will always be the grandma, just the right amount of pesto oil, thin and crispy. While I forget his name, the tall gentleman with glasses, who I assume is the manager, is always so polite and keeps things moving behind the counter. Dino’s will always be a pizza that I enjoy and highly recommend!!!!“

“A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25“

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Lucca’s celebrating Mother’s Day with my mom and I have to give a huge shoutout to Tori Krappa who truly sets this place apart! Torry is so giving & deeply passionate about everything she does, from the food to the people—she takes the time to personally greet tables, and ensures everyone feels like a regular! Everything was delicious, right down to the dessert- the cherry nut cake was outstanding! Highly recommended!“

“Last night a waitress here clearly tried to rob us! I paid $45 cash then wanted to put the rest on my card. She came back said the card machine was broken ( no big deal) My dad handed her a $50 bill&she never brought his change back. I asked her for a receipt to show we paid, she gave me a song and a dance about having to go write up another receipt. We had already been there for 2 hours & I had to leave, on my way way home I realized I forgot to leave tip on table so I called to give my cc info to leave the tip. later that evening I got a call back saying I never fully paid the bill. That waitress took his $50 and pocketed it!! When I spoke to her on phone she flat out lied!!, even though I told her (after I paid) that she never gave him the change she even said (oh I owe you whatever the amount was) She said we never gave her the $50!?! my elderly dad clearly pulled it out of his wallet & handed it to her. Thankfully Christine the manager took care of everything for us! Btw it wasn't Wendy she was awesome it was the other lady there on 2/22 evening short dark hair! Needless to say we won't be back! Why would I ask for a receipt or change back if we didn't pay you!?!?!?!?!?!But watch who you hire Sidels... She a bad one!! To try and steal from an elderly man with dementia!?!?! Karma is a b**** girly, I hope your mom is proud of you!! Ty Christine and Wendy for being a great waitress! Food was wonderful! and never had another issue here!“

My girlfriends and I met here for a girls night over the weekend and every single one of the four of us had nothing but great things to say about the whole evening. The service vibes were IMMACULATE; from the hostess, to the server, to the bartender, everyone added a positive energy to the restaurant. The food and drinks.. MY GAWD. We ordered quite a bit of food for the four of us to share, and there was not one single thing that we didn’t love; seriously, we talked about how good the food was for hours to everyone any anyone who would listen. “Tried Sibio’s for first time today for lunch- definitely worth the drive. Food was very good and prices appropriate. I definitely enjoyed this wonderful Italian restaurant. Decor falls between original 1970s and a little updated - but that was charming and likely kept prices so reasonable. The place was quite busy for an afternoon lunch and service prompt and attentive enough! Highly recommend - we will be back to try more. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!“

“I ordered a meat stromboli. I told the girl meat i wanted pepperoni ham sausage. They gave me their regular one and added the thee meat. She said yes you order a meat. I said yes she called the guy that made it I'm guess the owner said it wa my fault I didn't tell them I did want all the other stuff. I ordered a meat stromboli. I left it on the counter. Never asked me if I wanted my money back or make me a new one. I didn't make a big deal. they had a few people. But I'm so made I never go back. I have made many meat stromboli when I worked at a restaurant. Terrible!! It had mushroom in it that I'm allergic to.“

“This is the second time it was dried out. No taste. And the bottled garlic that they are using was so over powering it for Ed it down. And I asked for a little more sauce. When it came. It was all dried. Like it was sitting g under the heat lamp a long time. This is the second time. And it had no taste. Twice . And the prices have gone sky high for. Pasta. 17 for a lousy dish of clams in sauce that had no taste. I’m very sorry we loved co I g here for years. But the food is. O share what it is. Most likely there is no one watching how this is prepared“
