“What a great find. Was in the area for an appointment and in the mood for Chinese food. Saw this random place and stopped in. Expecting one of those generic-looking takeout type Chinese places, I was instead pleasantly surprised to find a very nice sit-down restaurant with clean tables and booths and very friendly service. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the restrooms were immaculate. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.“

“When I went the staff was very friendly, forgot my egg roll, she quickly ran out and give it to me. Prices seem good for the food and I really enjoyed their egg rolls. For 8.50 lunch special, you can buy worse. Closed to home so that's a plus.“

“My mother-in-law has tried there a few times and has spoke very highly of their food. My husband and I finally decided to try take-out tonight and we can't believe how everything turned out. The vegetable spring rolls were amazing as well as our szechuan chicken and ginger chicken. Both spicy dishes. Usually, I would add red pepper flakes to my dish, but this time I did not. It was deLICious. We will definitely be ordering there again. 5 Stars here for sure.“

“All of the food was really good and there was plenty in each container. My go to order at a new place is Singapore Mei fun, hot and sour soup and an egg roll and spring roll. The Singapore Mei fun is the best I’ve had in years outside of a couple places in Chester County and of course, downtown Philly. The egg and spring rolls were stuffed with nice fresh veggie ingredients and were cooked perfectly. The hot and sour soup had plenty of vegetables and tofu, and was just spicy enough! I’ve lived in Berks County for the past 11 years and this is the first place that I can say makes really good Chinese food. I just moved into this part of the county in November and I am very happy having found this place! Kudos to the owners and chef!“

“Fried rice is really good. I’ve had a few different items from here and they were all really good. Better than most places.“

“This is our go to Chinese spot. Their drive through window makes it easy to pick up especially when you have kids. They are a little expensive compared to the other Chinese restaurants but their food has flavor which makes it worth it! They do not deliver though that’s a down side.

“Orange chicken is a 5/5 but you have to make sure you eat it from the bottom where all the tasty juices are waiting for you! Beef lo mein was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. Service was great, very friendly.

“First off, the egg rolls are good, I'd like to see a bit more solid cabbage for flavor, but they are one of the better egg rolls in the area. The food was proportioned to feed more than once, and the brown sauce is good enough. If like to try a few more dishes before I give my permanent rating, but I will give a5 for first impressions.“

They used chicken by accident instead of shrimp and when I called the man offered to deliver the new one for free and told me to keep the chicken! I tipped him $5 because it was so nice of him to do! “Chan's fried chicken is really good! I love their wings, but their half fried chicken always catches my eye because it looks so good! The food never tastes old always fresh, and the restaurant is really clean. You have to try Chan's at least once to understand.“

“China Bar is the best little Chinese bar I’ve ever been in thus far. The food is actually top notch which is why you can never judge a book by it’s cover. Beer prices are good. Chew needs to lower those liquor prices a little bit. All in all, it’s a nice quiet little bar.“

“Me and my family have ordered from here a minimum of 7-10 times since moving here in 2022 and we haven’t ever experienced bad meat. We often order and stand there and you can see the men in the kitchen making and preparing the food. Me and my mom walked in tonight and within 6 minutes our two platters were done and we were out the door for $20. Don’t expect five star meals when you are paying $20 for two platters. It’s hilarious to me that the people visiting this place are expecting something five star for $10 a person lol everybody inside is always working hard rain or shine and even when it’s 95 degrees.“
