“My girlfriend and I wondered in to Nanty Glo off the Ghost Town Bike Trail on Saturday April 4 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Almost all businesses were closed and we decided to bike thru town only to find Al's OPEN for takeout. We got to enjoy some delicious pizza slices, a cold drink and a piece of Al's delicious homemade pie. If you're biking in, make Al's a must-stop. You'll be supporting a great local business and enjoying some delicious food too!! RECOMMENDED!!!“

“I am very specific when it comes to Pizza, I must say this by far is the Best Pizza I have ate in many many years. The cheese and dough is what got my attention. I love sweet sauce but this is a very Specific Sauce. Not to sweet not to Tangy, it was just right. Tried a tray and also a Mike's round Pie. Your Garlic Chesse Sticks are absolutely amazing 👏. “Ordered 2 Stromboli 's My Stromboli I wanted everything it came with except no ham & wanted double pepperoni. For some reason they put ham on my order. It was good, except the ham tasted old. WHEN I WENT TO EAT IT I HAD TO REHEAT IT CUZ IT WAS A LITTLE WARM JUST WARM I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WAS IN THE MIDDLE THERE WAS NONE ON THE ENDS IT WAS REALLY DOUGHY. “My experience has caused me to be a repeat customer. Nice service. Good food. And everybody seems happy.
I don't drink alcohol, but that's probably something that a lot of others do and it seems like a good place to do it. I would say mostly it's beer so it's a good place to stop after work or something for a beer and a sandwich or pizza.“

“I literally just called to place an order, and a young gentleman answered to confirm they could only do medium pizzas, he tried his hardest to get a deal for me and was very curtious, i wish I got his name, I called up at 2010 on 22nd March. if the shift manager can find out who answered the phone, he deserves credit.“

“I have enjoyed the famous Fox’s “Wedgie” for decades now, one of my favorite things to get aside from the taco pizza at Fox’s. My only suggestion is when you Order “Little/Light” Onions, definitely indicate that because they always somehow give me extra every time and I have to pick them all off which can be annoying esp. when your hungry!! Def. try to specify this lol. Aside from that minor hiccup, I really Enjoy Fox’s.“

“After trying numerous times to come to this restaurant (weird closing hours) we finally made it this past Saturday. We both ordered Spaghetti with meat sauce, which was accompanied by a salad and bread. Their bread is really good but came out with ice cold butter that was hard to put on your bread. (suggestion - maybe leave out the little butter cups to room temperature so they are not so hard to put on).
Nonetheless our dinner came out, large portions where we each were able to take home for lunch the next day. Waitress was nice, place was clean. We both had the Raspberry Ice tea which was ok, it seems watered down, not sure if the ratio of the drink machine was correct.
All around experience was good, food good and portion size was huge. We will be back....“

“So as a business owner I know things can happen from time to time that doesn’t always go as planned. Especially on opening day or in the 1st week. We just got done eating our order and let me say this. 1st impression is they did absolutely awesome! Delivery got here within 30 minutes and was hot and everything tasted great. The delivery driver (Caleb) was very polite and respectful. I know it’s just the first day but I would say they’re off to a good start.“

“Good location with a couple of tables to eat in. We ordered a Big Daddy pizza and breads ticks. Total came to $27. Not bad at all, it was enough to easily feed 2 adults and 3 kids. The Pizza was great, nothing special but also absolutely nothing wrong with it. Nice cruncy crust. The Big Daddy comes as a rectangular pizza. The breads breadsticks were fluffy, very kid friendly. I highly recommend stopping if you want an affordable pizza while out. The place was clean and spacious.“

“I ordered a large stromboli and garlic knots yesterday around 3pm. When I arrived to pick up my order it was not busy and no vehicles were in the parking lot and my order was sitting on top of the pizza oven. When I got home we cut the stromboli and the cheese wasn't even melted! it was cold in the middle!!! totally unacceptable!! I had to bake the stromboli in my oven to finish cooking it... the garlic knots weren't soggy and had so much bitter garlic they were inedible!!! I was very disappointed with the quality of my order. Being that my order was just sitting on top of the pizza oven boxed up it could have been cooked longer, obviously there was time!! When the owner is working my food is always perfect and always delicious!! But yesterday I did not see him and it shows in the food quality!! And support local fee?? what?? Is that a new tax???“

“Went for lunch with my daughter got the lunch special. Salad, cavatelli with meat sauce, wood fired margarita pizza, a cup of wedding soup, 2 gelatos, and 2 drinks. Could not believe how good and cheap. $23 and change for both of us. Definitely will go back!“

The Break Room bar & grill, Twin Rock Pennsylvania. Our first fish fry of Cambria County, MY HOME COUNTY. ALL AMERICAN MADE. $14.99 for shrimp dinner with coleslaw and choice of TWO sides. Yes, you heard that right, TWO sides.
Absolutely phenomenal. The shrimp were the biggest yet. Great crunch yet not oily. The pierogis were delectably soaked in butter with huge chunks of onion that were grilled to perfection. The Break Room fries are an all time favorite of mine, the crunch mixed with their house seasoning makes the entire experience tear inducing. The coleslaw was good, I personally like a little more vinegar in mine but I highly respect that it’s homemade as well as their haluski which I did not try (not a big fan of the dish in general).
My pal Emily got the crab bruschetta. As someone who’s not a fan crab, this dish was absolutely BREATHTAKING. So refreshing, light, cooked to perfection with a balance of balsamic and Parmesan cheese. I’ve never seen this dish at any other fish fry in Pittsburgh or Cambria county and for a rural area, this dish itself 10/10 stars.
The servers here are what made this meal what it was. So friendly, familiar, and makes the entire experience feel like home. I can’t express how well they treat their patrons.
