“What a relief. For a moment I almost forgot I was a 50-year-old adult with a designated driver.

After five Long Island Iced Teas, despite not driving, not causing a scene, not being visibly intoxicated, and simply enjoying my evening, I was informed that I was done for the night. It felt less like I was at a bar and more like my mom had decided I’d had enough.

To be fair, I respect a business that takes safety seriously, and I’d much rather see a bar be cautious than overserve someone. I just felt this decision didn’t match how I was actually behaving. I left disappointed because I felt I was treated more like a liability than a customer.

Five stars for looking out for people—even if this time it felt like you were looking out for me a little more than necessary.“

“Our dinner was delicious! We had the special, blackened salmon and scallops with mango salsa on a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled brussel sprouts. The salmon was cooked to perfection! Even the presentation was perfect. We both had a glass of white wine and finished our meal with a shared piece of cheesecake. Our waitress was wonderful and took great care of us. Thank you! Came here for the first time tonight with my wife (great pick, babe!) and the experience was excellent. I call it an experience because it truly felt like one! We arrived not knowing what to expect and started at the kiosk area, began looking through the menu there when the nice woman behind the counter asked if we might like to eat in the dining room. I thought she meant the open area, but no! There is a cozy space off the the side of the kitchen that somehow looks straight out of the future, yet has a rustic feel. The slightly varied blue tones paired with the dark brick evoked a calm and welcoming aura.

The food is simply fantastic. My wife started with the ...cauliflower appetizer which she loved (I'm not a cauliflower fan myself) and I tried the mozzarella sticks which were some of the best I had. The were light and at first I thought maybe I got one where the cheese all fell out, but nope! completely filled, crisp and delicious.

We both had gyros, which came with pita chips that are just to die for. Light, crispy and deliciously paired with humus. My Steak gyro was the best I've had...and the same for the perogies. My great grandmother used to make her own, and these are the best I've had since then.

The piece de resistance: The apple perogies! Hot, sweet little pockets of culinary joy, they reminded me of empanadas. Next time we'll know to get 2 orders. So glad we saved room for dessert!

“Juice pod The Juice Pod Lansdale is my go to take out place! I call in my order so I don’t have to wait at the store. When I call, most often I’m addressed by “Hi Carrie — your usual?” How special to be greeted by name and they already know my order. This amazing employee, A is always so sweet and welcoming when I call or come into the store. She is the best and always brightens my day! Every time I arrive, my order is ready to go. My go to is the Knight Bowl (no Nutella with peanut butter) and my son always gets the dragonfruit bowl (and adds peanut butter). Their bowls are loaded with fillings and toppings! Their açaí bowls are so much better than any other bowl place around. Pro tip: Place your order ahead of time, pick up and enjoy! Oh and don’t forget to give them your phone number — every 10 orders and you have enough points for a free bowl.“

“I love CAVA! This location is great because there’s no hustle and bustle for the lunch hour. I went to get a bowl because marketing works on me and my reward points are about to expire. I was greeted with a big smile by Theresa. She was so kind to listen to my Generation Y banter and make my seasonal white sweet potato bowl. I especially appreciated Theresa’s custom recipe and guidance, something out of my norm Harissa Chicken Avocado bowl.

I thoroughly enjoyed the white sweet potato and lamb combo with the fig dressing, definitely a banger. Another favorite would be the cucumber lime juice. Kudos to CAVA, looks like the fountain drink options have expanded, I’m a fan. I kept it simple with the meal, but I had to rave about Theresa, affectionately now my Mother Theresa with the amethyst crescent moon pendant. Stay pleasant!“

Tonight a meal was missed in our order and I called to let them know we were coming to get it. The person that answered the phone was very apologetic and offered to deliver it. “Just had an amazing authentic Mexican Lunch at Tijuana Tacos on 309 in Quakertown. I had the chicken flautas, my husband had their Birria Tacos. The consomme was on point!!! Both were exceptionally well prepared. They give free fresh tortilla chips with beans and queso fresco crumbles right as you sit down. They offer a really nice menu selection and the service was quick and personable! 5 stars!“

Rachel worked with me on deciding on what would fit my budget and spent time wrapping all of them with a thank you sticker on the back for me to pick up later on. “Have been going to the Chick-fil-a in Quakertown and Lansdale and as eat-in diners have had the feeling of being very low priority. They are focused on their drive-thru and take out business. This one in Montgomeryville was GREAT!! Super service and when the food came an additional little pack of a hand wipe and mint was included per person. What a nice gesture! Definitely will be stopping there again as we felt welcome and appreciated as customers that is sadly lacking at the other “drive-thru” locations!“

“My husband and I came here for dinner the other night and he had a lovely wrap and I had a big salad. The portions were large and everything was fresh and delicious. I liked that they had booths in there and we could just sit and chill with our dinner the place was clean, the staff was terrific.“

“Here is the thing. Google says they open at 10:30, which is only technically correct. They are serving food at around 10:50-11 am when the chicken is cooked, and are ready for all food by 12 pm the latest. This is actually a great thing, you know going in all of the food is fresh. The cooking smells bleed out into the gas station parking lot and are truly fantastic.With that important disclaimer out of the way, this is the best halal food you can find in the Landsdale/North Wales area by far. Both sauces are great of course, and the salad they serve with their rice platters is fresh and cuts through the spice if you're like me and order extra hot sauce. Their chicken is the only chicken I have actually enjoyed from a halal food establishment. The guys at the counter are super friendly.

Vegetarian options: Falafel is amazing and everyone should try it.

Parking: The parking lot is the same as the Exxon, and while the owners are pretty understanding I felt uncomfortable taking up a space while I ate my food. This food is best eaten straight off the griddle but taking it home might be more accessible.“

“i freaking love this sandwich. it’s my first time really eating panera and i got the southwest stuffed sandwich and the mexican street corn chowder and bruhhhh. you know it’s good when ya gotta hit the table. they took me to flavor town and back fr😩 it came with a free side with the mix and match deal so i chose a french baguette which is very nicely sized. i also got the candy cookie which is good, it’s obviously no crumbl but it’s not bad at all! overall 10/10, and the worker i spoke to was super nice, and actually seemed like she liked her job or at least shows up and gives her 110%. all the silverware and napkins were included too so i have no complaints. everything is so good, i was so hungry and this was by far the best thing i could’ve ordered. SUUUUPER satisfied!
