I had the most delightful brunch today! The hostess, Leslie was so kind, super charismatic, and chatting with her while she seated me it felt like we'd known each other for years. You can't train that kind of warmth and customer service! My waitress Joann was equally as wonderful. Kind, attentive, and made sure I never had empty cup as well as gave me tips on the best ways to get around Philly. Please make sure you go here and ask for these two lovely ladies! Very good, delicious green pasta 🤗
We’ve stayed at this hotel many times while visiting the Flower Show in March. The service and food was a bit iffy in the past but we saw an improvement from last year to now. Staff was courteous and professional and the food quality has gotten better.
The breakfast buffet offers many options, including an omelette station.

The 13 Restaurant offers a traditional breakfast buffet for brunch, including non-breakfast options like cocktail shrimp, crab claws, and prime rib. The breakfast buffet is delicious, providing guests with many food choices to enjoy. The entrées, particularly the scallops, were praised for being well-cooked. The staff, including a very helpful and friendly server named McKenna, were found to be accommodating. Although there were issues with the 12th St. entrance being locked and the lack of a restroom inside the restaurant, service from the gentlemen who seated the guests early was commendable. While the grits were reported as cold, the Brussels Sprouts appetizer and the steak burger were better than expected. However, the room service burger was over-salted and dry, while the Reuben sandwich was better. The restaurant is located in the Philadelphia Marriott, across the street from Reading Market and near the convention center. It can get crowded during meal times, leading to a line, but the food, including sea bass, pasta, and desserts, is consistently delicious, making it a worthwhile experience.
