Lovely restaurant with upscale ambiance and carefully prepared food and personable service. Halibut was a good size portion with tasty rice. Gnocchi with peas and vegetables was very tasty. Worth a visit if you are in the Rittenhouse square area.
This was our first time at Aleksandar. We loved the food, especially the delicious perogies and the scallops. The staff were friendly and professional. The space was beautiful - it was like dining in an upscale art gallery. We were surprised that the place was not packed out given its proximity to Rittenhouse Square, but we will consider it our hidden gem and stop by again when we are in the area. Highly recommend!
This neighborhood gem has such a great food and drink menu. It delivered and then some. The appetizer pierogi's were exceptional. The main courses were plentiful and delicious with balanced seasoning and great use of ingredients. We were too full for dessert but it looked promising. The kitchen was a little slow for a not so full restaurant but the staff made the best of it and the food was worth the wait.
