“I stopped by for Happy Hour and tried the Burger & Beer combo with fries, as well as a slice of plain Detroit Style pizza. Everything was decent but could have been better. The Happy Hour pricing for the combo is worth it but just don’t expect a spectacular burger and the best beer.

I’d say the pizza slice was a bit overpriced. It was a bit undercooked and a bit lacking in flavor from the sauce and cheese. Perhaps the dough could use more salt. The burger was more flavorful but the bun was surprisingly soggy a few minutes after it was served. This wasn’t detrimental but it’s an area to improve. It also seemed like the toppings weren’t as evenly dispersed as they could have been but maybe they were just easily moving around a lot. I’m not as familiar with beer but I think I’ve tasted better but I also wouldn’t expect better for a Happy Hour deal, so I’m not complaining at all. The fries were fine as well, a couple served soggy, not the best flavor, but passable.

The service was great. My server checked on me at timely intervals and gave me everything I needed.

The atmosphere offers a few different options which was nice. Even the outdoor area is on two different streets and one side tends to have a quieter vibe. I didn’t check out the upstairs or stay in the bar area, but those are also options.“

“We found this gem of a place by accident. Walking near our Airbnb while on a trip down from Canada to see our Flyers play. This is a local bar/restaurant but we were welcomed in and had a great time. Super friendly staff, service was fantastic. It was a great place to hangout. We will 100% add this place to our favourites and return when we are back down again for a game. We came mostly for drinks but one guy had their wings and said they were excellent.“

“We decided to head over here for dinner Tuesday night to get our little one some outside time. It is ok to bring kids in with you as long as you are out before 9pm - which was definitely our plan since it was a school night. We were seated initially at once of the tables by the water, but ended moving to a booth not directly next to the water since it was a little breezy and more brisk then we expected.

Staff, including our waitress, were all really friendly and the service was very timely. Didn't feel like it took very long between ordering items and it being brought to us, but also wasn't too fast if that makes sense. Everything was ok, didn't have any complaints on our meal. Our little one enjoyed her food and taking everything around her - saw a couple of sail boats and the trains passing under the bridge got her really excited lol.

It's always a cool spot on the water I've been to with friends/to hangout - now we know it's an okay spot to bring a kid too (just earlier in the evening).“

Parking: There is parking near the restaurant, only there you have to pay for the time you need to be there.

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“Who ever expects a good meal at an airport restaurant? I certainly don’t, so I was surprised at how good the fish tacos are here. Like legit some of the best fish tacos I’ve in forever. Crispy fresh fish. Super fresh slaw. Nice fresh flour tortillas.

Truffle fries solid too. Asparagus were not overcooked, wow.

“Was in Philly for a conference and our flight back to Texas was delayed until the next morning. Me and my friends, a total of 9 of us found this place that was still open. BEST DECISION EVER!! We were all so glad we came here and it was the best service! Ashley was our waitress and she was the absolute best and so sweet. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious!! My friend got the mac and cheese and she said it was the best mac and cheese she's ever had!“

The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original.We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. “I have loved this bar for the eggnog nothing else sorry not sorry, but that was then and the old comly. The new bar is clean and modern , the new owner moved the pool table to the
back so no more pool sticks jabbed in the back or unnecessary fights., it's menu looked like I'm going to stop back for a bite but most of all the reason to go back is because of the friendly staff who was very welcoming, bartender J she has a personality that is super upbeat and quick.“

“We went on a Friday night after 8pm so the dinner rush was slowing. We easily got two seats at the bar(tables available too). The bartenders were very nice and efficient. Drinks(beer, wine) were great. Food is consistently great (delicious, large portions for a fair price). Restroom is ADA accessible. Highly recommend. We missed it, but There’s a happy hour too. We’ll be back!“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

“Sorry I ate a little before I took the picture, first time order. I had a good feeling about this place although their reviews arent all good. Uber eats isnt the best service, but its midnight. I ordered a hour ago, food not only got here early but was sizzling fresh which I totally appreciate because it is late. Fish, mac and cheese and yams. Absolutely amazing, 10/10. Not too much season, everything is just perfect. Thanks you guys, I appreciate the food, along with the quickness & freshness. You got a new customer now!“
