Been wanting to try this place for years and finally made it today! The fried gizzards were good—perfectly cooked and not tough or chewy. The cheesesteak egg rolls were decent too. Glad I finally got to try it!

Chang San offers decent food and great service in a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are clean, fresh, and very tasty, with huge portions. The fried rice can be mushy, but the fried half chicken is perfect and crispy. The shrimp in garlic sauce is delicious, with fresh, nice-sized shrimp and vegetables. The woman behind the counter is very nice, sweet, and friendly. Always fresh and crispy chicken wings make this a favorite Chinese restaurant in South Philadelphia. From the outside, you wouldn’t expect the food to be so great, but the first order proves they know how to deliver. A place worth returning to.
