“Best cheesesteak I’ve had. Owner came around with extras from his dinner he’d made for his wife and shared it with the customers. That was also delicious, but the cheesesteak was better :) Absolutely recommend!“

“Service absolutely AMAZING! The team was so friendly, eager and having fun together. Contagious atmosphere and their pride for their superior products is so awesome to be around.
The Houdini might be my favorite pizza ever.
I wish sharp provolone cheese was available for the cheese steak, which was a 9.5, even though I'm not a cooper sharp fan.
Everything was awesome. Can't wait to come back.“

“They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. The pick up line could have been more smooth and fast paced. The food thought was delicious and full of meat. Would love to go back next time I’m in town.“

“I’ve NEVER been to a cheesesteak place that doesn’t have lettuce and tomato for steak sandwiches. Therefore, it’s not for me. 👎🏽 #iWantedAcheesesteakHoagie“

“I was in Philly for the weekend with my daughters (our first time - we are from the west coast, recently transplanted to Maryland) and we really wanted to get a good cheesesteak before heading home. We had a few recommendations from friends, but out of those two were understandably closed for Easter. The other’s reviews noted notoriously difficult parking. Because it was raining, we just didn’t want to deal with walking super far or paying for another parking garage. We decided to head home and just google to try and find something close to our route.
My daughter found this location, and we are so glad we tried it. Very easy/close street parking, and both the food and the service were great. I didn’t get the employee’s names unfortunately, but the young lady who took our order and brought it to our table was super sweet. Then another employee came over to check on us when we were finishing up, and he didn’t just offer us boxes but came and wrapped up all of our leftovers for us at our table. The service was great, and the food was as well!
In fact I am getting ready to go eat the other half of my huge sandwich now that we’ve made it home. My daughter plans to go visit Drexel in the coming year, and we will definitely hit up this spot when she does!“

“Second experience at warrington location. Double meat wit with copper sharp. Place was packed so the wait for food was normal. Steak I think was overcooked then it normally is. But all in all it was a great cheesesteak!!! Always a fan!!! Just giving my honest 2 cents haha“

“Best place for a cheese steak but to tell the truth all their sandwiches are fantastic. And they are always adding newer items. Always the best quality too! While most restaurants may not be as good as they used to be, it is the opposite for Tony & Nick's. They started at a very high level and seemed to exceed it.“

“Had my first Water Ice, Lemon, here while we were touring the area. Fantastic! The gentleman that ran the cart was friendly nad hooked my right up, even though he was in the middle of a boat load of Cheesesteak orders. If I had had room for another Cheesesteak I definitely would have ordered one of his, they looked and smelled incredible. His usual spot is right there on the corner of 6th & Market and it's a great unofficial Ambassador to the city and it's local flavors. If you're going to visit Philly, this is a good stop to plan on.“

“You have to pass thru at least 5 times a week.... I enjoyed the cheesesteak with fresh chips. The chips always come late.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“I was on a mission for a chicken cheesesteak and started searching around for lunch spots. The moment I landed on Jim’s, I already knew it was over—I had to go. The staff was super polite and respectful, and they even apologized for the wait (which honestly wasn’t bad at all).
Let me tell you… I barely made it back to my work van before ripping into that chicken cheesesteak. The smell alone almost took me out—and the first bite? Absolute 🔥. Juicy, packed with flavor, and straight-up satisfying.
And yes, I grabbed the banana pudding too… and yeah, it was just as good as you’d hope.
If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. You have to get a cheesesteak from here. No debate. No regrets.“

“My go to spot for authentic affordable ($11 at the time of this review) Philly travel cheesesteaks close to the airport. They double wrap them and place them in a bag with a cardboard bottom to protect the steaks. They hold up really well for flying whether you put them in a suitcase or carry them with you. Go here and not to Jim's inside the airport, those steaks are overpriced and watery and don't live up to real Jim's quality and quantity of food.“

“The best cheesesteak in the area for sure. Bread was soft the meat was perfectly cooked juicy as heck and not dry next time I’ll get extra cheese but it doesn’t need it! Barely needed ketchup. Perfectly fried crinkle cut fries (my fav). Also got the salmon cheesesteak egg roll and it was delicious I just wish it had a dip like some spicy ketchup or something but it was juicy and seasoned. Above all else the owners are black and super friendly ppl. Definitely will be back for more. Oh and it was about $16 for everything very affordable unlike these pizza places charging $15 for a dry ass cheesesteak with over cooked meat.“

“Food was pretty good ? As I traveled here, I didn’t know what to expect because I don’t know of any good , cheap food spots in this exact area right off the Blvd. Ain’t the best part of Philadelphia but there is security cameras inside & the 2 staff members were nice . I ate half of the platter first & gave my stomach some time to decide if it agreed. The cheesesteak was hot & I asked for crispy fries & they were .
For the food you get , the prices are CHEAP. Like 2019 cheap. Leave a TIP the place is ?in the rough.“

“I live not too far from Larry's steaks o. 9th and Girard. Im a Phillycat born and raised and I've been across country and to Alaska. This is hands down one of the best steak places to go in philly! And there are a few little hood jaws, up in the cut but good a** food. No doubt stop in and grab something in day or late night they the spot. I usually order a classic cheese steak and fries, cheese burger and fries, or a steak stromboli. Which I got a small and felt Hella greedy cause it was so fargin big! I thought they gave me a large by mistake?! The prices are higher than the poppy store of course but well worth it. Check them out asap if your down to f up some good a** food ok lates people“
“Awesome guy behind the counter. Professional respectful and courteous. In this type of neighborhood most business try to treat me in such a way I'm never happy with. I prefer to be treated according to my demeanor not on the unpleasant experiences they have had with the type of people in the neighborhood. Not this man. He has good customer service skills and was raised right by someone great. Thanks Mr. I'll catch your name next time. ✌ out“

They took the time to answer my questions, were patient while I decided what to order, and kept such a positive attitude the whole time. You can really tell they care about their job and the customers. Great customer service like that makes a big difference, and it’s one of the reasons I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“The classic Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich is really delicious, the texture of the meat with pieces of sweet onion accompanied by cheese sauce on a soft and spongy bread, it was truly a delight, I loved it, the delicious potatoes were shocking and just right.
The attention of the staff was excellent, all very friendly.
The atmosphere and in general very good, highly recommended if you go to Philadelphia.“
