This was our inaugural visit. We arrived on a bustling Saturday evening and were promptly seated, although the restaurant quickly filled up around 6 p.m. The menu offered a great selection at reasonable prices, and the quality of the food did not disappoint. Our server was attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A gem of a local spot in West Philly!
Recently relocated to Philadelphia and craving Mexican cuisine, we stumbled upon Don Barriga Mexican Grill and were thoroughly impressed. I opted for the chicken burrito, which was nothing short of fantastic. Complete with guacamole, it boasted delightful fillings and exquisite flavors. came in on a friday afternoon for an early dinner. no wait, BYOB, reasonable prices, and truly unlimited chips/salsa (the chips are freshly fried tho!) that I could honestly get full off of with a good drink imo not as good as some of the mexican food on the other side of the river, but if you're in ucity and crave a solid burrito, this is a cute spot! ended up as $21/pp after tax and tip and we had some leftovers too!
