Driving by and noticed the upgrade on the corner store. Looks good. Really nice paint job. Brand new sign. Glad to see such improvements in the city. Everything counts. Half the people care. The traditional Philly term for a Latinx owned corner shop is Papi Store. In New York, it's Bodega. One of the main differences between these terms aside from location and the fact that Philly does everything better anyways, is the store's resident cat! Because NYC is overrun with rats, the Bodegas usually have a house cat that helps keep the rodents away. Not so much in Philly Papi Stores though.
