This was our first time dining at Hawthornes but we will definitely return. I enjoyed my matcha latte and chicken and waffles very much! Our server (Cassie?) was charming and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. We were seated on the sidewalk on a gorgeous weekend day and got in some great people watching too!

The restaurant is cute with grandmothers house vibes. The service was kind, attentive, and quick. Customers loved the Hot Mess, with phenomenal pimento cooper sharp cheese sauce that tied all the quality ingredients together well. Lunch was excellent, with a chill atmosphere and pleasant service. The crabby dick and soup with grilled cheese really hit the spot. Brunch was very good, and the staff was friendly. The pancakes and eggs were tasty, as was the pancakes and pimento dip. The space was clean and open.
