High Street Restaurant & Bar is a popular spot for food lovers. Their bread is so good that customers keep coming back for more. The shakshuka and croissant with egg and ham were decent, but the sunny side up eggs and potatoes were exceptional. The buttermilk biscuit was flaky and delicious. The pastries, including the lemon poppyseed bread and chocolate almond croissant, were a hit. The baked eggs were good, but the staff forgot to serve the accompanying bread. Despite this small mistake, the excellent service and overall dining experience make High Street Restaurant & Bar a great choice for brunch on a Saturday. Recently, the restaurant gained praise for its outstanding soup, roast pork sandwich, and panna cotta. The sandwich was large and packed with pork, making it perfect for leftovers. The bread and sandwich roll, baked fresh daily, were exceptional. Lunch service was quick and friendly, and seating by the window offered a pleasant view despite the sun sometimes shining into guests' eyes. The restaurant is known for its high-quality bakery goodies and superbly prepared dishes. Whether for business or personal events, High Street & Fork are considered some of the best in the city, impressing both locals and out-of-town guests. The Saturday morning brunch service was quick and efficient, with fresh squeezed orange juice adding a nice touch to the meal.
